I hope it won't be locked soon. MadSwami came in to troll me and he will be the cause if it is locked. SS4 is above SSGod and on the same general level as SSGSS and he doesn't like it so he wants to troll and make shit up and ignore evidence and facts given to him. Now to make it clear, I can't see MadSwami's posts here anymore thankfully. So as I was saying.. with correlation, retcons, and provided information have given us a narrowed down that while in the same media and from given information SS4 and SSGSS are generally the same in power. All explained multiple times beforehand.

I never ignored facts. SSG is universal and SSJ4 is not like how. Not to mention all my claims, were from the anime

Not to mention ignoring official material like BoG, due to not liking its content, in favour of some videogame to fit a certain idea pertaining the anime. Too convoluted to make sense, even the word retcon has been flying around misused.
Personally, I think when someone accuses others of nitpicking and goes about to exclude official material written by Toriyama himself, the debate is over.

I am glad we resolved our differences and that we can resume this. Does any statement on SSJ4 mention it enhancing the users potential or just unlocking it all?

ok, so how did Goku surpass Gohan even though Gohan trained it said? I don't see how if both continued their training Goku prior to SSJ4 would surpass him let alone after

Gohan only kept up his training so he wouldn't get weaker I guess? While Goku continued to train hard and his base form surpassed Gohans base form. Super Saiyan 4 isn't just a Potential Unlock form, it also has a multiplier to it since it stems from Super Saiyan and Great Ape too. Gohan was stronger than everyone on earth except for Goku and Vegeta in GT, they never stopped training hard so they surpassed him.

ok So, when in GT does Gohan us his PU form? Does he always use it and combine it with SSJ or no?

Gohan doesn't use the PU state in GT, Gohan just uses SS and for a brief few moments SS2. Just another weird thing they did.
The Perfect Guide says Gohan continued to train in the years following the Buu Saga and the end of Dragon Ball Z to Dragon Ball GT, but in GT the state was dropped from Gohan for some reason.
