Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I’m ok with Moro using his second wish to free the prisoners of the Galactic Prison. It allows for an Army of Moro and I didn’t have much issue with it.
However, I feel a better way to do it would have been having Moro be from the demon realm and using his wish to open a portal to the demon realm. You can have Saganbo, Shimorekka, 7-3 and the rest but instead of random criminals they are inhabitants of the demon realm. Nothing really changes but I feel that would have been far more interesting.

It isn't about him or his opponent's power...very interesting. Maybe Vegeta learned how to become a great communicator and just asked Moro to leave ? It worked for Naruto a few times.Noitsnothim wrote: Tue Jun 16, 2020 2:03 am http://ryokutya2089.com/archives/32795
Ryokutya's impressions
Spoiler:
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
After saying Ryokutya’s impressions can be misleading I hope Vegeta’s technique actually does live up to expectations as he is implying.

Ryokutya's impressions
Spoiler:
I still believe the earlier “spoilers” from today to be true, since they felt quite believable and not exaggerated. But we’ll see.
That said, Ryokuta’s impression seems very hyped and impressive! It would perfectly fit with Vegeta’s “poisoning his enemy through manipulating his own ki to become ultra destructive and dangerous”.
But we’ll see, anything is possible at this point.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Poisoned? We've seen in the past how certain types of ki are unsensible and incompatible with others (deities and the comment made by Dabura about Shin and Kibito's ki being two noteworthy examples). I guess rendering ki unusable or virulent to someone would be a logical extension.
On one hand I would be disappointed that such a perk may be the extent of Vegeta's training with the Yardratians. On the other, it correlates to how Vegeta's mind works as he isn't the magic or technical sort. It doesn't appear like he's appropriated any techniques we've come to associate with other characters like Tenshinhan or Piccolo so that's good.
Seventhree remaining alive and out of GP custody seemed like a radiating beacon to the reader that he still has a role to play in this arc but kudos to everyone who predicted it. Actually, didn't Moro himself predict it in the manga? I'm just wondering how Goku's abilities are supposed to counteract Vegeta's. Isn't Vegeta stronger than Goku at this moment? Also, I wish the humans weren't so helplessly outmatched against Shimorekka. They're the weakest of the Z-Warriros here but they should at least be able to handle the henchmen outside of Saganbo and Seventhree.

Considering Ryokutya's impressions always feel like he's not enjoying much what he read, he being excited about Vegeta's new technique makes me curious. Whatever it is, I hope it's something unique.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

I'm not usually one to comment on spoilers before the chapter is released, but it's amazing that people put so much stock into Ryokutya's "leaks" when they're almost never accurate or even remotely trustworthy.

I wouldn't qualify "Freeza shows up" or "Vegeta has a stand attack" as mere opinions. Those are specific details. They're just two examples out of many that turned out to be completely fabricated.Matches Malone wrote: Tue Jun 16, 2020 12:01 pm They're just his opinion on the chapter, which may or may not line up with what others think.
Ryokutya's track record with video games demonstrably doesn't extend to Super. He's possibly trolling, doesn't have direct access to V Jump or some combination of the two, but almost nothing he posts about the manga is credible. He's not a reliable source.

As for the Stand attack maybe he was just guessing what Vegeta’s new attack may be
It’s just strange to me that people think he is purposely posting false information on his blog in Japanese a few days before the chapter will come out. Who is trying to mislead actually?
If people take his vague impressions as actual spoilers well then that’s their fault.
Edit: Found Ryokutya‘s Chapter 51 spoilers. He literally says nothing about Freeza being in the chapter.

You’ll find out what happens in under two days’ time, and you’ll have a competent, professional translation with the full context of the entire chapter.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I know right? It’s surprisingly late this time around. Exactly because it comes out earlier this month for some unknown reason (the 18th, rather than the 20th) so I was expecting leaks (manga images) as early as the 15th. I was unfortunately wrong. This whole thing being only once a month is truly stupid and heart breaking. First the Super Anime ends, then it doesn’t come back for over 2 years already, luckily the manga still exists. But waiting 30/31 days every single time is really painful.FiReFTW wrote: Tue Jun 16, 2020 3:56 pm Whats taking sooooooooooooo long for the leaks, I want to see what happens already![]()
But it is what it is.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I get looking forward to the chapter, and that's the feeling Toyotaro's hoping for, too, I bet, but it's not a bad thing that visual leaks haven't appeared. When they do appear, we tend to get them untranslated (or poorly translated by fans working quickly rather than thoroughly), which almost always leads to misunderstandings and rampant misinformation. That wouldn't be so bad on its own if it just solved itself, but it doesn't. People hold onto that misinformation even after the translated, official version is released, because it spreads like wildfire in the time between the leaks and the release, and a lot of people don't read the actual manga, so they never get to know that they were misinformed in the first place. Remember, there are more places where Dragon Ball is discussed than just Kanzenshuu, and the standards that exist here don't necessarily exist anywhere else. With the official, translated release less than 40 hours away, it's for the best if there aren't any visual leaks this month, in my opinion.

Could someone please translate this article?

It takes a look at Vegeta’s past aswell as all of his transformations and powerups. It seems to be very informative, but I won’t be able to tell since I don’t understand japanese.

Since is a recap, Google's translation seems to be enough to understand what the message is, but does it says something interesting in this panel?
Spoiler:
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
A stat boost wouldn't make up for the skill gap and if Moro can just slap out stat boosts of that level and it costs him next to nothing to do, then there really shouldn't be a reason as to how Moro could lose. As far as the ending, I wouldn't be surprised at all of Vegeta gets cockblocked again by Goku who suddenly goes MUI and beats Moro at the last moment before Moro kills everyone. It would be consistent with Toyotoro's style. That of ripping off things that've been done already by other writers.Femme Fatale Kikaza wrote: Fri Jun 12, 2020 11:00 pm Maybe Moro gave his goons a bit of boost, justifying them being a threat to the Z fighters, but I agree, this arc has been dragging itself out for a while and there are like fifty characters involved and they're trying to shove them all in. I dislike Buu falling back to sleep as its annoying for the one moment he's needed he decides to go night night for a long period of time. Seriously, Buu is way too unreliable and they need a way to prevent him from sleeping for long periods of time after this arc concludes.
Moro personality wise is about is the equivalent of a block of wood to me. I just hope they don't make it anti climatic where Merus jumps in or they fuse together.
Goku supposedly has lower potential than Vegeta yet is consistently always stronger than him. It's not about potential. The whole "Spirit Control" thing is, as even their Guru stated, is just another way of saying Ki Control. That thing they had to develop and master to use SSB, since the SSB form is all about Ki Control. The kind of control they needed to move around in that Godly Dimension for training that Whis put them into where they couldn't move unless they could completely prevent any of their ki from leaking from their bodies. And had to fight like that for what may've been days or weeks inside that space.GodVegetto91 wrote: Sat Jun 13, 2020 1:22 am I know. But I think it’s about Vegeta having that much insane potential. And he’s trained all his life with a huge handicap. Before coming to Yardrat, he already had SSBE. Despite being completely messed up. His spirit power was really low! And since his body and spirit were so off balance all this time, he was never able to make use of his own build up inner power properly. But now he can. Spirit Control was the missing link in Vegeta’s evolution. It was the one thing missing. The one thing he needed to overcome his limits. That’s why he gained so much power in such a short amount of time.
So while all the other characters may have had very good levels of Spirit Control, all of them have much lower potential than Vegeta. And were already well balanced from the start. Vegeta literally reached SSJ Blue Evolution levels of power WITHOUT any Spirit Control. That is one impressive feat!
I wonder what would happen if Broly ever got Spirit Control training.. He’d be able to beat even the freaking Grand Priest!
So again, this' stuff they've already learned yet Toyotaro keeps hitting the reset button, making them forget everything they learned and undoing all their character development just to retread the same ground over and over again. With Vegeta's training on Yardrat he's just blatantly ripping off Yu-Yu-Hakusho. Rather brazenly when he basically has Vegeta fire off a Spirit Gun like the one Yusuke did against Sensui after awakening his demon blood, where he was surprised by how strong it was and that he couldn't control it properly.
I also wouldn't call SSBE all that impressive since all they did was take USSJ Vegeta and slap a blue coat of paint over it. It's literally the same design, only with pupils. You could just say they didn't want it to look as lazy as just have a SSB2 that's just SS2 that's Blue. It's not impressive that he reached that form that's supposed to make up for the fact Goku can stack KK on SSB. It's just lazy.
I should reiterate. It's not that he has low spirit power. That's just nonsense. It's really like what Whis had explained to Vegeta before when training them. Vegeta is always way too tense and wound up when he fights which causes him to waste more energy than necessary, whereas Goku is too relaxed and as a result he takes more damage than he otherwise would've. In short, all Vegeta needs do is relax a bit to get better control over both his energy and his movements.
The whole spirit energy thing is just nonsense and all Pybara and Merus do for the story is what Whis was already doing; Training Goku and Vegeta to better themselves and improve their abilities. That's all their is to it. Toyotaro shoved in new characters to do what Whis was already doing in the story. The fact this just keeps getting dragged out took an already mediocre story arc and made it gratingly bad.
