The TOP Arc was so bad for me it made me hate the manga but this Arc has restored my faith in him.

There was so little to work with in the TOP that getting it out of the way as fast as possible was the best option he had.

I'd take anything over fusion and Merus. I really hope Beerus is the one to clean this up, as it's been forever since we've seen him do anything major.

Besides, even if Beerus gave fuck all about the Z fighters, Moro is a threat to his position and a threat to EVERYONE around him. Beerus stepping in would be necessary, as Moro is now becoming too powerful to live. Moro is now pretty much a walking disaster, killing him is community service at this point. It's Beerus's job to get rid of people like Moro anyhow, he's just late as fuck to the caring party.

I just don't want Merus to kill himself over someone Beerus could handle, or for fusion to happen again(Gogeta just appeared and Vegito fizzled out during the Zamasu arc)

Pretty gruesome injury by Dragon Ball standards but nothing we haven't seen before. Goku himself has experience with that kind of damage as it's very much similar to when Piccolo used a beam projectile to perforate through his chest. I don't expect for the Saiyan to be done in by it -- his condition against Piccolo was even worse by the end and you could argue he was left in a more severe condition by Vegeta in the Saiyan arc.

Also, I'm a bit conflicted by these leaks. Normally, I'd much rather have no spoilers and just read the full chapter in two days, but it's been a long time since last time the fandom was in the state it's in right now and I've missed this.

I don't expect Goku to actually be dead from this. I'm guessing he's going to be on the ground bleeding out until he can be healed, probably by Buu. Or at least I hope Buu is allowed to do a little more in this arc. If Goku actually does die, though, that'd be really unexpected and could lead to a very interesting story moving forwards. However, Dragon Ball Super continuing without Goku for a while seems extremely unlikely.

Yeah honestly, that's what gonna happen. Moro might as well kill one of the Z fighters to showcase his 'Perfect' power. Since Goku and Vegeta are basically out of commision, the B tier fighters are fucked. Their best bet is to hope Moro won't blitz them.
