Revival of old topics

What's the consensus on bringing up old topics, talking points and conversations, that had threads but haven't been talked about for a while? I know we're all against necro-posting, but what if I bring something up again? We seem to have a lot of new members and maybe someone's veiwpoint on the matter have changed.

You simply just make a new thread. If you want to refer back to a previous old one, I would suggest simply linking it in the new post. *shrug*
