The Similarities Between Golden Great Ape And Super Saiyan God?

Can anyone please answer why there are so many similarities between Golden Great Ape and Super Saiyan God? Like for example, both forms are stronger than Super Saiyan 3, both forms are able to increase their power over time like beyond their respective multipliers when certain conditions are met, both forms can be used as a stepping stone in order to achieve an even more powerful form, both forms are shown in some scenes depicting ancient Saiyan folklore, both forms can be mastered like how Super Saiyan can to make them more efficient, and both forms can have possible variations with each other.

Also, any similarities mentioned about Super Saiyan Blue and Super Saiyan 4 would greatly be appreciated too.

Probably because shonen stories tend to circle around the idea of “a greater challenge requires a greater power”.

They're not really that similar. One is simply the gateway transformation to obtaining SSJ4 and the other is a divine form invented by a pure-hearted Saiyan long ago. Due to both being derivative of SSJ, there definitely will be some comparisons but there will also be contrasting properties. You could make a slightly better case of SSJ2 & SSJ3 having many similarities by both having greater power, longer hair, sparks in the aura, a change in the Saiyan's demeanor, having the definition of "a level beyond SSJ", and hearing the roar of an Oozaru in the first depiction of either form.
