Ginyu had different plan (regarding Goku)
Ginyu had different plan (regarding Goku)
Idea came to me as i was re reading some of DB Multiverse chapter, What if Ginyu realized, that Freeza might want to kill him, if he find out he obtained such powerful body, and Saiyan one at that, so he can get even stronger, and decide to change bodies with Goku, and before he realize what happened, slice his own throat, before going back to his body. Would Vegeta be strong enough to take care of both Ginyu and Jeice? And, if he won, would everything be same? Even if Goku got revived along with Piccolo, I'm not sure if he recieved as big zenkai as he did in actual series, Vegeta getting immortality might be only chance against Freeza...

Re: Ginyu had different plan (regarding Goku)
I'm not entirely sure what you're asking?
Ginyu didn't have any ulterior motives. He had deep admiration for Frieza and felt a sense of patriotism. Frieza keeping him alive indicates he trusts Ginyu.
In the Broly movie, we see the Ginyu Force there when Frieza is just a boy. Their relationship is complex, goes way back, and might be a bit like the relationship with Berry Blue.

Re: Ginyu had different plan (regarding Goku)
Well Freeza seemed eager to bring Vegeta back into the fold during ROF despite the Saiyan prince having increased his power immeasurably and proving to be a liability during both the Saiyan and Namek arcs. Granted, the tyrant does seem to harbour this bizarre affection for Vegeta. But having said that, so long as Ginyu remains loyal and doesn't push his strength into too tall of heights, I could see Freeza accepting him with Goku's body.
Re: Ginyu had different plan (regarding Goku)
I have yet to watch latest Broly movie
And it might be true, but still, Freeza was paranoid of Saiyans from beginning, and if we add whole whole trouble Vegeta gave him on Namek, even knowing it's Ginyu, seeing him in Saiyan body, with PL that already rivals/surpass his 1st form...
