So I have a question regarding this. In the VIZ manga Vegeta says "let's not overdo it" when King Kai tells him he can let everyone in the universe give energy to the Spirit Bomb to defeat Kid. Yet every other translation has Vegeta thank King Kai including the original anime, I've even asked native speakers and they confirmed that Vegeta is thanking King Kai for that. From the looks of it Super confirms the Super Spirit bomb was made from energy from the whole universe as well.
Why did VIZ change that line for? Or is there missing context that justifies that change?

Maybe it was because they thought that Vegeta giving a genuine thank you with no strings attached didn't fit his 'edgy' character.
