Aitsu wa Son Goku

Post by Ryu-Ken Bakuhatsu » Tue Apr 22, 2008 2:36 pm

What if this song had been used in an insert? Where best could it have been used?

I always thought his appearence at the battle field after being healed in rejuvenation chamber.

I think to make it fit better (because the first stanza refers to Kintoun) it could have been cropped from the 5th to the 7th stanzas.

For a translation of this song see here:

Anyone got their opinions of where could have been a suitable insert place for this awesome song?

Although its true it is a pretty damn awesome song.. I don't really think there's any fitting battle for it.. Maybe Goku vs Piccolo(Tenka-ichi Budokai)?

Hmm maybe. :) I could see it being in that fight.

I felt for my idea of a good place would either be just as he appears or just as the battle beings.

I think a mid battle use-age would have been best if used for the Goku-Piccolo battle.

Well it's a sort of happy upbeat song so I'm thinking more of a 'friendly' battle, can't really think which fight it would fit though.

I could have seen it played at the end of the Freeza saga where we think he is dead though.

Goku and Kuririn/Krillin is the only friendly fight I can think of off the top of my head. During the last episode. It could of even been an alternative to the ending of DBGT rather than Dan Dan. However Dan Dan I feel is irreplaceable as the shows closing.

I think if it was after he is seemingly dead it may be suited a slower paced verison the last two stanzas would suit it best.

"Son Goku knows no escape" =edit/reword= It seems he didn't have an escpae this time but of course we find out as soon the next episode preview comes up. NEXT TIME ON DRAGON BALL Z

It's too upbeat and happy to really work as a background song for a battle. Could've easily been used during a training montage at Kaiou's, though, with Goku showing off how strong he's become.

Yes, I do suppose that it's too happy/upbeat. It would probably best fit in a non-fight or filler episode.

I always viewed it as just an all-around dedicated song to Goku. So really it could play anywhere to me. During a battle, a flashback montage, as a finale, etc.
Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."
