I know, I know, I shouldn’t think too hard about this, but...

Nice! Thanks for the info. It's another thing worth waiting for next to dbs manga.
Someone mentioned that they met Turles and Bojack in the arcade game, but they have never met Janemba there. I don't really follow the plot in the arcade version but the purpose of this anime is to promote the game, isn't it?jamiljamtheman wrote: ↑Fri Jul 31, 2020 2:21 am I know, I know, I shouldn’t think too hard about this, but...Spoiler:
If you want you can stretch your brain and think that Fusion Reborn couldn't happen in their timeline because Gogeta in the previous arc was from DBS Broly, as Vegeta had to learn fusion technique from scratch.

I know right? It's much better than having to put up with old faces doing the same old stuff.ArmenianPepsi wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2020 11:15 pmYeah now that i'm imagining it, having Bojack make a comeback as some dastardly crew of space pirates sounds cool

Do these episodes have any kind of consistent release schedule? Is it just once a month? On a particular date? Or day?
Re: Official "Super DB Heroes 2018 Promotional Anime" Discussion Thread
No, it's been random. But it would seem they'll be releasing them monthly from the next one onXeno Goku Black wrote: ↑Fri Jul 31, 2020 3:30 pm Do these episodes have any kind of consistent release schedule? Is it just once a month? On a particular date? Or day?

Episode is out. Pretty good episode, Limit Breaker SSJ4 looks amazing.
Re: Official "Super DB Heroes 2018 Promotional Anime" Discussion Thread
Hopefully the dialogue is fun when it's translated. Really underwhelmed the new SSJ4 was so brief and barely did anything to amaze.

Yeah though sometimes it has.....on a blue moon or so delivered. I wasn't expecting great action or anything....just.....longer action. The literal fight was 2 blows and double dragon fist. Love seeing that move back but woulda liked to see more. Feel like we should have had that whole beginning spiel at the beginning of the next episode instead of cluttering this one.Matches Malone wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 1:11 amThis is how the majority of Heroes is, they hype up a new thing only to under deliver.

As usual, my hopes were too high. My main problem was just how underwhelming Janemba's death was, he got pierced and then boom. For a 7 minute product, to have 2 minutes of just powering up is so... ugh.
This could be so done fucking better, there is no story, we already know that and don't care, we are here for the action, so why waste precious screen time half-assing it? Why the hell waste time showing SSG Trunks doing nothing or Janemba beating up everyone AGAIN instead of more Genkai toppa SS4??

So who hit Pan when Janemba did the portal thing? The tail clearly hit Trunks but she looks like she got hit? Did she just fake it to pretend she contributes XD.
But on that note I would like her to actually have a point being there honestly.

I know it doesn't matter, but she is too young.
Also something else, ik this is promo, but you just think that SSB Kaio Ken Goku could have gotten the job done solo lol.
Even XGoku knows the Kaio Ken...and I think that Limit Breaker SS4 was an accident based on their reaction. Like they went for Super Full Power.
Also, would want something more than a 'he unlocked that' from Goku about SSG XTrunks... That's like... Bruh... I expect the game will have way superior dialogue which I can't wait for.
Also how long has it been since Mechikaboola?
Like, OK Hearts happened, and it seems as a recent event, but so does Mechi, since you know, SSG XTrunks.
Stuff is either mixed or I didn't get something.

She's older than Goten and Trunks were at the start and basically around Kid Goku's age at the start.

Am I missing anything by giving up on this a few episodes ago?
Cool stuff that I upload here because Youtube will copyright claim it: https://vimeo.com/user60967147

You are missing a lot if you follow this story just through the anime.
Re: Official "Super DB Heroes 2018 Promotional Anime" Discussion Thread
No, I wouldn't say so. At this point I think Toei is experimenting with just how little effort they can put into making this thing and get away with it. And Grimlock is right, the anime gives you the bare minimum of story content. For the full story, the arcade version is the way to go.Polyphase Avatron wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 9:10 pm Am I missing anything by giving up on this a few episodes ago?
Probably Kanzenshuu's biggest Bulla fangirl. Current avatar: DBU Bulla as Sailor Princess Sadala, based on Sailor Moon: Cosmic Dance

I'd love to follow the manga but have no way of really doing it. At most could buy books but there is no english version.

Re: Official "Super DB Heroes 2018 Promotional Anime" Discussion Thread
There is a way you can read the manga. It wouldn't be too different considering you're already watching an anime with fansubs. Anyway, the manga is the least you can do to follow this story, as its author goes a bit deeper than the anime.
