I doubt they'd change Satan to Her-cule. Satan is hardly a swear word, and Viz has already used worse in other SJ stuff.

I agree, Mr. Satan probably will be used... but I am eternally pessimistic.

Um.. Sorry to necro-post, but y'know. This fits in here.

In the latest issue of Shounen Jump, in Dragon Ball Z ch.199, they changed Mr. Satan's name.

"The great combatant H e r c u l e- formerly known as the wrestler "Mr. Satan"-has announced that he will enter the Cell Game!!"[/b]

Darn them. Darn them to heck. I know why my SJ is late this month... they didn't want me going into a fiery rage with the little kiddies around...

Am I the only one who still hasn't gotten it?

Mine's always late. Mind you I live on the other side of the country from where it ships so I should only get it overnight. No, wait, that's still not an excuse. :x

Does anyone actually pronounce it "Say-tin," like the devil? I always pronounce it like they do in the anime, "Sah-tahn." You can't necessarily complain about that. >_>

Eh, to be honest, I pronounced it Say-tin during my early DBZ fandom days. ^^; Before I learned about pronunciation and such.

Well, it is a pun on the English word "Satan," so that's the way I've always pronounced it. I mean, I don't say "Buruma" just because that's how they approximate "Bulma" in Japanese, so why would I pronounce an obviously English word with a Japanese accent?

I pronounced it wrong, but I pronounced everything wrong, and didn't look back in my brain to realize it, so went around pronouncing half of words wrong while I should have known better.

Mr. Satan is an english word so it should be pronounced the english way.
Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."

Yup. And if anyone says that they pronounce it "Torunksu", then they really should leave their bedrooms more often.

Funny. I never pronounced it like the devil's name. I dont know, maybe its because I always thought it was "Saitan" instead of "Satan". I dont know, I guess I'm always pronouncing things wrong.
