Erm, what? I'm talking about the Manga. He doesn't do any such thing in the Future Trunks arc there, but rather explains that he won't be able to do it for a long while, as I've said. You asked a question about what's going on in the Manga, and I thought I'd be helpful enough to answer it for you.

Oh right, I forgot that manga arcs are gutted compared to the anime arcs, my bad.
At his core Zamasu is good like Shin, though I guess you could say he was so fastidious that it backfired. But you know, for this "Future Trunks Arc" you had to depict Zamasu and Trunks' inner conflict, right? If this was back when I was drawing the manga myself then I doubt if I could have done it. I mean, I'm not very good at depicting the characters' psychology on the page. So this all came together because now I only have to think up the story. [...] On my own, I doubt I would have been able to express Zamasu's fall to the dark side.

If we're going by what was established in the BOG movie, then Golden Freeza could've "fodderized" him. The problem with Beerus is that the writers keep making him stronger as the story goes on to keep him in the picture.

Do we have any confirmed strength basings for Beerus? Because it seems like they don't really know how strong he actually is compared to the current heavy hitters and just assume things. Like as of now, I think he still is stronger than everyone but we can't know for sure because the guy hasn't actually fought anyone in years and this isn't the time for a rematch while Moro is still kicking.

But now it's not possible anymore, it doesn't make sense, because Beerus is a Destroyer, he can't be stronger than an Angel. Maybe he'll start training or something, but he's so lazy that I doubt it.

A few pages ago I suggested that Beerus should intervene against Moro, but now I realize that he'd probably get oneshot.

In the BOG movie Whis said he used 70% of his power against SsjG Goku.

In the BOG anime adaption Beerus himself said he used 10% of his power against Ssj2 Vegeta.

How he's still on top with those numbers I'll never know, but he should've been outclassed by RF Blue Goku/Vegeta and Golden Freeza, as they're leagues above those numbers.

They should have Beerus go against Moro and see how strong he really is to put the debate to rest. Knowing how the writing is, they'll have Beerus lose and Whis has to do something because it's obvious they are fucked.

I don't think the writers care about established facts, so Beerus will just one shot anyone he comes across, regardless of it making sense. Going by the numbers they established, Beerus was outclassed in RF, much less now.

But then people will say Beerus was holding back or something(that's what some fans of him say). They should just give us a sheet of power levels of everyone once the arc concludes so we can measure properly. Honestly I don't think Tori even knows the power levels of people anymore and has lost count.

"holding back" is just a polite way of saying bad writing. That excuse doesn't make sense at all when he himself is telling us what percentage of power he's using, same as Whis. It's not like Goku or Vegeta are the ones making those numbers up.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand this response.

Do you mean to say 'thank you for taking the time to point out where the manga directly answers my question'? Or was your question simply intended to set up an extra opportunity to rag on the manga?

The issue isn't the length, but rather the amount of content we get each month. We're now down to basically one plot point a month, which is insane. There's also all the fake outs we've been getting for the past 7 months. First we were led to believe the final would be between Moro and Vegeta, then Merus, then Goku, and now maybe Whis ? The tournament of power was longer, but one thing it got right was establishing early on that the main conflict would be between Goku and Jiren, just as the majority of previous arcs within the franchise did.

I expect it to go another 6 months. It seems like each chapter just covers one plot point in order to drag things out as much as possible.

I think Toyo has a very overrated opinion of his writing capabilities. I've said it countless times, and I'll say it again, DB's current writing team needs to go, including Toriyama.

They need new writers, this god-awful. The pacing, the fake-outs, the stupid justifications made to have Moro stick around and give him stupid power ups to prolong the fight. What's NEXT? Moro beats Whis and the Grand Minister has to come down and get rid of Moro? Because it's getting ridiculous, this arc should've ended by now, way before Moro becomes Super Perfect Angel Moro.
