Most overused Dragon Ball truisms?

Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

I think FighterZ is the best thing to come out of the revival, but anyway (could also make an argument for Kai as far as improving the western version of Z, but whether that counts as part of the revival is another discussion).

Truism? Funimation doesn't care / their latest release is flawed. Certainly this is relevant when a new example of their work pops up to let us all down like the 30th Anniversary set, but I've seen more than a few chains of posts that can basically be boiled down to this point being repeated over and over. I also expect "Toei doesn't care" to become this in a couple of years now that folks are starting to catch on to it after the Movie Blu-Ray debacle.

Yes so much to the second one, I for one like both versions of his character.

"GT Pan is so annoying!"

What a great surprise that a 9 year old kid who's too strong to make friends amongst her classmates, can be quite irrational and throw fits? Being flawed was a point of her character, not some negative trait that the writers should avoided ever writing. Her character being that way makes sense (lack of strong sparring partner and having to stop crime on a daily basis.)

Not to mention her much adored grandpa returned in the form of a little boy what made her even more frustrated, but she did get used to that and started liking him more with each new adventure. That's where character development comes from, you don't start ideal from the get-go.

Videl was almost the same early on and she was like 16 year old compared to Pan's 9-10.
