It's sorta like "Earth-jin." In Japanese, it would be "chikyuu-jin" (hopefully I spelled that right.)PsyLiam wrote:Would it be Huma-jin, or Earthling-jin?

But...why? "Saiyan" and "Majin" aren't spelt anything like each other.Mizugi wrote:They left "Majin" alone though. Many jokes were made by my friends before Buu showed up about how he would be called "Mayan Buu."

I think he means because the TV version in America did the same thing, like how they changed stuff in a couple of the other Mangas. What are you basing that on, since the two names have absolutely nothing in common?
But still... they didn't have a problem with Kuririn and Tenshinhan and any number of other things...
"Chrysanthemums will wither together with its leaves, lying beside the fiery eyes soaked with blood. Even then, your sublime status will never be shaken, even if only half of your limbs will remain. To increase the fascination within the drama, should the search for a new partner begin? If so, then head to the east. You will definitely meet the one who is waiting for you."
I think it may just be that its because the majority of U.S fans are more used to him being called H e r c u l e than Satan, most people watch only the dub, its a proven fact, much to the dissmay of most of us here. I dont know about the original spellings of Kuririn and Tenshinhan and all them though, its rather odd... I have no idea...
But for the whole Satan thing, we've known the man as H e r c u l e for nearly several years, and before that, "Mr.Savage" lol... but didnt DBZ in German call Satan "H e r c u l e" as well? I keep hearing that, but I've never seen it for myself.
All I can say is... people are weird (referring to adaption writers)

Actually, you've been right on all accounts thus far.John wrote:Yeah, it does. But somewhere I heard "majin" meant magic or sorcery. I could be wrong.
