The title of this chapter is exactly the same as episode 517 of the original manga. That episode is the closing and celebration of the death of buu previous epilogue.

Several cartoons that have come out are very similar, like Satan waving to Boo excitedly. All gathered happily celebrating, Goku waving, Vegeta wants to take a break ... there are too many similarities to the Toriyama episode before the epilogue.

I'd say that's what we'll get at Jump Festa. No anime, but the manga will reach EoZ.

What bugs me is the fact they are able to use Namekian Dragon Balls. Isn't a delay of 130 day, so basically 4 months, required after the last use ?
How long has it been since Moro made his wishes ? Two month at most ? You could argue that Toriyama made this kind of mistake before but still.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see EOZ re-drawn with some slight alterations here and there. Since Goku never went Super Saiyan against Oob there's not much they need to change.

I imagine the biggest retcon will be Bulma's design. She looked like an old lady in EOZ, I imagine her design being retconned to look like how she does in Super will be the biggest change.

I highly doubt we will ever see the same EoZ we saw in the original manga, Toriyama has said he doesn't like it and has no interest telling stories in that setting, so if we do get a time skip it will probably retcon the EoZ we know.

So nothing came of the merged Namek, I thought he'd get absorbed by Piccolo or something.
He just got Warfed by Moro but he had no individual feats, at least it showed the Nameks are less passive and willing to fight back organisedly these days and learned since Freeza but yeah, wonder if they split him with the DB's off screen.

This could still be another setup. I'm not hopeful, but its not off the table at the very least. I do wonder if they'll be defused with a wish.

Not to add fuel to the speculation fire, as the title homage could just as easily refer to the next arc starting in the back half of this chapter, but 517 isn't just the chapter prior to the epilogue--it contains the timeskip itself, with its last few pages taking place ten years later.

"A Conclusion, and Then..." (with the "and then" being a ten-year timeskip)

I'm curious to see where they'll take things because the impact of releasing that title to fans surely wouldn't be lost on Toyotaro. (Though ultimately it could just be that he liked it--I like it as a chapter title too--and decided it fit well enough even sans timeskip.)
