Are we going to see a timeskip in Chapter 68???

Re: Are we going to see a timeskip in Chapter 68???
I doubt the time skip mostly because of the unresolved plot point of Whis and Beerus being called to meet with the Grand Priest. If there was a timeskip, that would never be resolved and if that's not resolved, good god that would be lazy. Or handwaved away as nothing, equally lazy. So I don't think we'll get a timeskip, I don't think Toyo is that bad a writer, though I would really, really like for us to get there sooner rather than later.
So maybe not this coming arc, but the next one? Here's hoping!

Re: Are we going to see a timeskip in Chapter 68???
We did get a confirmed (very small timeskip in this chapter)
Literal translation?
“Several months + several days”.
So simply several months lol

Re: Are we going to see a timeskip in Chapter 68???
It was said “a few months later”. The “several days later” portion is still during the Galatic Patrol Prisoner Arc, including Beerus’ punishment and Galatic Patrol celebration.
Re: Are we going to see a timeskip in Chapter 68???
Is there already a timeskip? And is it months? Oh well, it's AGE 781 then. Let's see if Toyotaro pays attention and not make Goku and Bulma meet each other.
Here's to hope Goten, Trunks and Marron appear older, that's the least (and accurate) he could do now.

That will never happen. We can't get simple clothes changes much less character aging.Grimlock wrote: Tue Dec 22, 2020 1:22 amHere's to hope Goten, Trunks and Marron appear older, that's the least (and accurate) he could do now.
Re: Are we going to see a timeskip in Chapter 68???
No, you said “several months later”, which is technically longer than “a few months later”.GodVegetto91 wrote: Tue Dec 22, 2020 2:19 amThat’s what I’m saying.Hugo Boss wrote: Mon Dec 21, 2020 9:51 pm It was said “a few months later”. Re: Are we going to see a timeskip in Chapter 68???
It's completely pointless, then. The point of a series set in this time period is to see these characters older than they were in Majin Buu saga.Matches Malone wrote: Tue Dec 22, 2020 3:02 am That will never happen. We can't get simple clothes changes much less character aging.
If I remember correctly, the guidebooks state Marron was born in AGE 771, she's turning ten freaking years old but she still looks like a baby. And you're telling me that in mere three years she'll be about as tall as her mother? Where's the freaking logic!?

Super isn't known for its logic. Look at Uub, he looks older and is taller than Goten and Trunks, despite them at this point being at least 10-12 years older than him.Grimlock wrote: Tue Dec 22, 2020 12:26 pmIf I remember correctly, the guidebooks state Marron was born in AGE 771, she's turning ten freaking years old but she still looks like a baby. Wait, isn't Uub meant to be like 5? You're telling me, canonically, Goten and Trunks are 15, 16, or 17 years old?!Matches Malone wrote: Tue Dec 22, 2020 12:31 pmSuper isn't known for its logic. My mistake, they're supposed to be 12-13 but they still look like younger than him, and are even shorter.Ziegander wrote: Tue Dec 22, 2020 1:14 pmWait, isn't Uub meant to be like 5? You're telling me, canonically, Goten and Trunks are 15, 16, or 17 years old?!
Re: Are we going to see a timeskip in Chapter 68???
Yeah, and then there's Uub who looks exactly what his age is, he looks like a six-year-old because he is six years old (he'll turn seven now that we're in another year).
Goten and Trunks will turn fourteen and fifteen, respectively. For the love of Dende, they simply cannot continue to look exactly like themselves in Majin Buu saga (same for Marron), the gap is now seven years. It's the same gap between Cell saga and Majin Buu saga.

Several = Few.
Just a different word.

Is English your mother language?
In this very chapter we saw how the words several and few were used to make the reader understand how the events played out. Galatic Patrol celebration happens several days after the battle against Moro, while Beerus arrived at Zeno’s palace a few days earlier, but also after the battle against Moro.

Uub doesn't look all that different from his EoZ self...
Anyway, considering new arc is only a few months after Moro saga, I have a feeling this who Super saga is expected to last for a very long time - it wouldn't actually surprised me if they make 4, or 5 more manga arcs of Moro saga longevity before EoZ, maybe even more.
