Hahaha, I won a contest!

Post by VegettoEX » Tue Jun 29, 2004 12:46 pm

I'm signed up for some random DBZ newsletter; it's not even FUNimation's... I think it's related to Atari and the video games...

Anyway, every week or so they have a trivia question. They pick a random winner from the correct answers. There's been two so far; some random kid won the first one (which asked what the original Japanese name of Super Sonic Warriors was), and the second one... well...

First off, thanks for your "uub-er" (sorry, couldn't help myself)
answer, and I'd like to let you know that you've won the most beautimous
poster. Since I'm including the winner in the fan profile again, would
you mind telling me a bit about you? (When you first started watching
DBZ, what your favorite character is, fave DBZ game & possibly anything
about your site?)

Thanks!
Corrie

PS. Also, a snail mail address to send the poster to would be helpful,
but I won't publish that. :)

I think it's some FUNimation-actor signed poster. HAH. ROCK.

The question was "What was Buu's name when he was reincarnated after being defeated by Goku?" by the way... What I find REALLY interesting is how not once did I mention my site... and I was asked to say a little bit about it... x_X;; Whoa! So industry peeps still know me...

And yet YOU "won" the contest. If this was the stockmarket it'd be insider training and you'd all go to jail and we'd laugh and you'd be sad. :P

Hai. I explained in my answer what the romanization is, and how you could spell it both ways depending on how you spelled "Buu/Boo" and what you wanted the pun to be :P

My answer for the first one was even funnier. I went into detail about how to romanize the game's title in a few different ways, what it was originally reported (incorrectly) as a title on Japanese sites, blah blah blah...

Are they Nigerian? Did they send another emial promising you 30% of 500 million dollars if you just let them keep it in there until they can transfer it to their great aunt who's been on a space station for 13 years?

I'm assuming you're just very cynical when it comes to contests? Join the club.
