Future Trunks and Future Mai being a couple is not morally questionable at all.

The issue here is PRESENT Mai, an adult in a child's mind, being attracted to Trunks, a 12 year old. That should raise a few fucking red flags.
At least it is not as bad as General Blue.

other than I don't like the couple either .. who makes them different from other couples that have existed in the series? that are of questionable morals

bulma marrying her boyfriend's killer
Krillin marrying the person who was going to kill his best friend
Goku accepting to marry in complete ignorance even though his decision was when he was a child who did not give importance to those things
Kid Goku GT and chichi ... etc

really the only nomal is gohan and videl who met at school
