You sure? 99% of TV sets made in the past 8 years are NTSC compatible, and even if they aren't it doesn't matter, because DVD players automatically convert NTSC DVDs to a PAL display signal (and vice versa on US DVD players). All you need is to see if your player has a multi-region hack. What make and model number is it?

I use a PS2 myself, or my computer. Depends how I feel. The main DVD player belongs to my parents. I spoke to them about it, and I got the impression that it may not play NSTC.

DB is rated "T for teens", while DBZ is rated "A for all ages". It seems that in SJ that everything except DBZ is rated T though. I heard about the censoring of someone flipping the bird in DBZ, but I've seen Naruto, Kuwabara, and others do so.

My friend SSJ4Kain has nearly all of the DB (and half of the Z) GN's and he's told me himself they are completely uncut and everything is there.

Dude, you know SSJ4Kain? I loved his website before he shut it down...

Your parents are being a bit silly. I have never seen a DVD player in existence that can't play NTSC stuff.

And I've just remembered, you don't even need a region converter; FUNi's DVDs are Region 2 (as well as region 1 and 4), so they'd play straight off your PS2 without any alterations.

And if, for some reason, your TV set is really old (and I mean really; if it has a SCART socket, it can almost certainly play NTSC), then you can play them on your computer.

My old one can't (well, it doesn't support 60hz), but it DOES have a SCART socket.

How old was it? And how did you know it didn't support 60hz? Were you playing a games console with a 60hz setting on it? If so, were you using a fully wired SCART lead?

And yup, FUNi's DVDs are region 2, for no adequatly explained reason. It even says so on the DVD guide. Doesn't it, Mike?

And even if you are afraid of getting FUNimations DVDs due to NTSC, you can always get the Madman Region 2/4 sets for Dragonball, and DVDs for GT. I wouldn't reccomend their Z though.
