I'd rather Son Goku just be an aromantic ace because, you know, he's a SAIYAJIN and all that... If not for pure urges, he'd not have romantic interest at all. And I barely count Bardock and Gine in that category to boot.

Just because romance is not a big thing in Saiyan society doesn't mean Saiyans don't have sexualities...I mean, how else would they have proliferated their society?

From what little we know of Saiyajins sex isn’t a big thing for them outside of productive purposes.
Nappa’s suggestion for him and Vegeta to have their way with a bunch of earth women to reproduce an army of super powered half saiyajin/half earthling hybrids was more about having a powerful warrior race at their disposal and little to do with “lets have some fun”

The Saiyans were said to be low in numbers because they didn't reproduce very often.
