I think the XX in the angel part is immortality, Merus got erased by a failsafe so I think thats the only thing apart form Zeno that can waste them.

Well that had already been established and given the context of the sentence I assume he’s referring to his fight with Goku and for it to be relevant in this instance it would require Goku to put Whis’s life in some level of danger which I seriously doubt.

Perhaps its revealed in a conversation between Goku and Whis regarding Merus? Really gotta wait for those leaks to be more sure though.

Throwing in a speculation to complete the statement - how about,

"Angels are reality warpers!?
Had such a thing been established? ...
With that of course you can't win!"

Or a similar concept. Would generally fit with the sorts of things we've seen, but would be different enough to surprise.

It can't be omniscience, that is too lame. I mean, Zuno is already omniscient and he is fodder. No, this property/technique that the Angels have must truly be something unprecedented. Plus we know for a fact that Angels are not omniscient, because Whis thought that Goku Black was a fake version of Goku (anime) or Kibito (manga), so clearly they are not omniscient. Immortality sounds lame too after the Future Trunks arc.

Point is, it must be something that no one else except the Angels ever had. So, again, no immortality (already possessed by Garlic Jr. and Zamasu) and no omniscience (already possessed by Zuno).

Maybe Angels can become intangible, so that no attacks can physically hit them? I don't think such an ability has ever been displayed before in Dragon Ball.

Well technically Hit could do that in the anime via leaving behind a sort of afterimage when he time skipped. However I can’t imagine that such an ability would be as important as it seems to be presented here. We simply don’t have enough information to go off of here.

Maybe Angels can do what Janemba and Hildegarn could do ....... phaze in, phaze out.
For anybody that has ever played the Metroid Prime Trilogy, the phazon metroids had that ability as well.
Why dodge an attack when you can basically become a "ghost" for a few moments.

Such as looking forward in time? I mean Whis already can manipulate time, being able to look forward for like a second or something would be in line with what they should be capable of.

I think I am to conclude that the flashback isn't shown that much, considering it didn't make it to the leaks. Thankfully, I was already expecting that.

Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get more out of it, preferably still this year. Wouldn't want to wait until 2022 to know what happened (also wouldn't want to wait until the end of 2022 for this saga to end).

Granolah just only started his quest to become stronger. There's also the new group of baddies to fight, Frieza to get involved, more training for Goku and Vegeta. With all of this I think it'll last even until 2023 considering the pace

Yeah, I'd kind of assumed Angels were constantly in Ultra Instinct already - this isn't really the surprise the teaser impression implied. The differing precision levels of Ultra Instinct may be a question of 'degrees of refinement' than levels of a transformation or something like that, but I guess we'll find out.

Glad to see that there are, indeed, other divine techniques that can be learned to change things up other than just Ultra Instinct. Vegeta gravitating towards Beerus's path, as opposed to Whis's, is a fairly natural consequence of his prior decisions, too.

The idea of information being key to the villain's plans is intriguing, but I guess it depends on what the long play is as such.

I guess that's it for entire "UI is the last form" talk. I mean form itself might not change, but saying it has some kind of "state levels" basically doesn't seem that much different from SSJ having levels.
And i really hope that "another technique" is indeed just a technique and not another transformation.

So Granola is on a quest to get stronger in order to defeat Frieza huh and his former employer seems to be wary of the potential strength Granola might have in the future. As for the multiple levels of MUI I don't think it means new transformations but rather different levels of control and power in that transformation. Vegeta getting training from Beerus might conclude in him getting a Super Saiyan God of Destruction form or something.
The strongest in the universe I think relates to Granola, how will he achieve this?

This will be interesting. Dragon Ball already has a plethora of new techniques that can be used (I for one remember the Psychic Binding Bojack and his crew used in their movie, which sounds like a perfect counter to someone using UI. Invisible, intangible threads that can bind, crush and immobilize an enemy. How do you defeat that aye? I digress though, I don't think we will go beyond MUI as a form. Omen was a good stepping stone, but perhpas what Whis may refer to is for MUI to become Goku's base. If that's not it, maybe a 'Refined MUI' where the user does not stress their body while using the form, but can't maintain it for long? Dunno...

It seems that they're hinting at Beerus potentially training Vegeta, so the idea of him following a different path to Goku's is definitely sticking around. This is a great development, as there's no need for both main characters to have the exact set of powers.
