That guy's shirt is totally becoming an avatar. May or may not actually use it, but...

Anyway, if these screencaps are par for the course, then things look a little better than the previous set, if you ask me. Still a wee bit oversaturated, and disappearing lines are a tad of a problem, but otherwise looking better.

Somebody seriously needs to send a copy of that red screencap and the normal one, caption them, and send it to FUNimation and say "see?"

Just right-click the images and save-as to your computer and then send it to them. But it's still not like they'll listen to complaints as long as people continue to buy them.

Correct, it's when they start blasting and then as soon as they run out it goes back to normal. I'd say it was about 30-40 seconds.

I thought it would be worse than this. I mean, sure there is this red shade, but It's not pure red, just a more red version of the colors.

I love the Season Sets and I try to defend them as much as I can. But that's just inexcusable. As you can see from the other caps posted, there are many good looking scenes in this Set. But then there are some crappy ones.

Preorders shipping early, and some stores as well. Its street date is only a week from now.

Try Wal-Mart. I went to mine and there was one Season 5 set left. obviously they got an early shipment or something.

I wanted to go into Best Buy just to see what was new and wanted to get some good old classic DVDs to add to my collection (Running Scared with Paul Walker, Face/Off, Fight Club) and bam, there it was. The first thing that caught my eye was the Double Feature. I was surprised to see it. Then right next to it was Season 5.

So, apparently FUNI is getting it right by most standards in terms of colors. Just slightly brighter colors, vanishing lines and a little loss of detail in certain areas, but major improvements on the colors compared to what they previously released.

They actaully took time with season 5, unlike what they did with season 4. In season 4, when it's in the middle of an episode for the commercial animation, the sound doesnt have such an insane bass. I was really hoping season 5 wouldn't have that, and thankfully it didn't.

As far as the episode goes, the redness is only there while Trunks and Kuririn are blowin' sh*t up. The rest of the episode looks normal.

I figured that much. On the whole, I'm glad things are improving more and more with each set. It can only get better from here.
