In the case of the flashback last chapter, that was a significant part of the general story and the conclusion of it had already been shown. This special is pure filler.

See i'm kind of torn on it, because i feel that's what it was supposed to be, but in the end we just got the "nahhh Vegeto is a jealous man child" excuse.

It has been a while though, i might be misremembering, but from what i remember they did this large set piece, set up a reason for Vegeto to want to kill Bra, then... just kinda moved past it to show Vegeto throwing a tantrum about losing instead? I am serious though i might be misremembering.

Nah, the "I Will kill You" Flashback was shown in the chapter preceding the special chapter I believe. That Vegetto temper tantrum about losing was eons ago.

I presume Broly and Boo remain trapped in that black hole until the heat death of the universe, and then Broly survives because he hasn't actually aged due to time and space reversing positions inside of the event horizon.

Could be, but goddamn. As others have stated, only plot amor and MAX POWA would explain a Saiyan surviving his atoms being infinitely stretched betwen the point of entry and singularity.

I'd rather have him just blow up the multiverse, honestly.

Well breathing is optional to Broly now, I guess so is dying and aging

There are some who think black holes lead into "white holes," with black holes basically being a hole to a different universe. That could be the angle they're going with here, but it's still strange that Broly would survive being crushed in the singularity.

I guess "can't be damaged" extends to being crushed, even if by a black hole.

Favoritism, I guess. I mean, I get it, the transformation has some rules of how it works. But it's just too strong - if he had, say, reduced pain reception on account of being a berserker, he could ignore injuries just like he does, except he'd still be hurt. So even if his power was potentially infinite, like the Hulk, you could still beat him up before he gets to that point, and the only thing that would change is that he would go from "invincible" to "actually capable of being defeated", which is much better for a battle shonen..

I wasted this time and I'm fully aware of that. I utterly wasted every second I spent writing this.

But Broly could conceivably survive, even being next to a black hole. If he stopped himself in the ergosphere before reaching the event horizon, he could escape.

I mean, the physics of this are already tenuous. Despite spaghettification occurring, the Schwarzschild radius of a supermassive black hole is so wide that even if you were right next to the event horizon, you wouldn't die from it. No, you'd die from the absurd radiation more than anything.

But this is Broly, so he'll probably just power up and blow up the black hole. Or maybe they're in a pocket dimension outside of spacetime. I just, I dunno.
