I miss the Golden Freeza arc hair. That was so nice and casual.

It was more distinctive compared to the drab Vegeta esque upturned spikes we've seen throughout Super. Plus, I feel like it's notable for the fact that the style was worn by a character who for the first and, as of now, only time in Dragon Ball took the reigns as hero and slew the villain. Sure, there was Zamasu, Jiren, and Moro but those were more like collective efforts with Goku predictably at the helm.

He should've kept this hairstyle when he was in high school. It's a nice subtle homage to Goku.

I adore the Cell Saga Gohan hair, it finally looks like his own thing, and he just looks good man.

I have nothing against the Buu Saga hairstyle, just the end of Cell haircut is perfect

I do think Gohan's hairstyle from Boo is cool but it's so overused by players in Dragon Ball and Dragon Quests games that it's boring at this point.

I most liked the design all the way to the right here:



It keeps his Cell Games-esque hair style but fits the grown-up look for him.

I do like Gohan's final design a lot however, but that could be saved for his appearance after Old Kaioshin's ritual.

I actually never really liked that hairstyle all that much precisely because it looks exactly like Goku tried to give Gohan his own hairstyle and failed. It's certainly not bad.

I prefer Gohan's Boo-arc hair. But that comes with a massive, throbbing caveat that I prefer it ONLY ON HIM. Because that hairstyle— the stubby spikes— has become way too overused as a generic male hairstyle. At least Son Goku/Goten/Bardock/Tullece/Goku Jr/Goku Black has an iconic shape. Gohan/Yamcha/Cabba/Tarble/Beets/GT Goten/GT Vegeta just looks... generic. It's Toriyama's take on Bart Simpson. It was so much better when it was Gohan's specific hairstyle, plus or minus that one time Yamcha cut his hair.
