How did you decide/get your avatar?

My avatar was this shot of Majin Vegeta for a while:


However, I felt like challenging myself and doing some art stuff, so I traced and corrected it (with my mouse, since I have no tablet at the moment) into Yamamuro's Buu arc art style:


Colors are the Dragon Box, but with a bit of extra contrast, and the outlines are thick so that they will stand out at 100x100 pixels. I'd like to think I did a good job of capturing Yamamuro's likeness, as I used several screenshots for reference.

Well, my username is meant to represent Ma Jr. in all of his evil glory from the 23rd Tenakaichi Budokai. And to me, the full body shot of the moment he first locks eyes with adult Goku is a striking image. Piccolo really was scary back then, and (other than Frieza) is probably my favorite villain from all of Dragon Ball.

The current Piccolo Jr. avatar I have is from my favorite artist in Dragon Ball, Minoru Maeda. And it is such a piercing stare, full of hate and malice. In particular, I love how tiny Piccolo's pupils are; that adds a ton to his demonic, evil look, whereas when he becomes a hero, he tends to have larger pupils. I love hero Piccolo, but I'm nostalgic for his villanous days also, hence my avatar.

i just finished up the first season of chihayafuru, really amazing show, didn't like the anime art style as much as the mangas, so i just looked up some of the art work lol. plus shinobu just has a super awesome design, very classic anime villain esque.

Since I discovered Proect Diva X on PS4 a few years ago.
I did put her as my avatar in most websites for a loooong time, because I also played Project Diva Future Tone at launch, and made like 200-ish hours of gameplay on it.

Since then, Miku has been a staple, even when my interest shifted towards other things. People just associate me with her, and I embraced this.
