Well I do like Kurririns voice but some of the voice actors screams are a tad lack luster.

Eh, Gohan is supposed to be 5 at this point, and his voice actor was 12 at the time, I believe. He still sounds WAY too old.
Again while you may be right, it dosen't change the purpose of my point which is: He still sounds closer to what a kid his age should sound like compared to most of the other dubs out there, which is why I wonder why everyone else seems to think he sounds crappy in this dub.

Considering the two main choices for Gohans voice are most likely going to be a natural sounding child voice or an unnatural sounding raspy voice, the former dosen't sound too bad. But again thats just my opinion.

Wow. Gohan DOES sound really good. His voice really works nicely since the VA is a kid.

Kuririn, however, is very...bad. Just like the UK dub, it seems like they tried making him sound VERY annoying with all the screeching/shouting he does, even when his mouth is closed or not moving.

Chichi sounds rather motherly and Oolong is fairly alright.

Tough guy Goku returns, but in another language. DO NOT WANT!

The ChiChi voice sounds like an angry grandma who wants to smack your hand with a ruler for touching the cookies before supper.

The only voice that even kind of worked was Gohan, though it reminded me more of Alphonse Elric than Son Gohan.

"Big Green...."

And Kuririn has was too much estrogen in this dub.

This makes it all entertaining, however, not in the way Dragon Ball should be.

Vegard Aune

Are you saying this dub is kinda along the same as English Digimon where the voice cast has been shown to be really good in Cowboy Bebop and Kenshin but were brought down by horrible scripts? I can't understand Norwegian at all but I do think that the voices sounded pretty "meh" overall.
Be grateful the filler in Dragon Ball doesn't suck like the 3rd arc of Rurouni Kenshin.

This voice cast is a mix of the same cartoon voices you hear for every darn dub in Norwegian, and some kids playing some very, very lame shows like "Olsenbanden Jr."
Scripts are horrible, and so is direction.
These dubbers are not fit for dubbing Dragonball at all.

In case anyone was wondering, no, Tullece isn't named "Raditz" in the Norwegian dub, but "Turls". He still claims to be Goku's brother, though.

Question. From the way the actors sound, do Norway and Sweden have similar accents? I'm asking because in those Norwegian clips, thy sound similar to the Swedish/faux-Swedish accents used on US tv that depict Swedish people.

I'm from Norway..

OMG OMG.. Thats the worst Dub I have ever heard. Gohan and Oolongs voices are done by some teenager guys, whos faces and voices are to ugly to be true. And I have actually meet/seen them. Gokus voice are made by a fat, ugly, old man. Chichis voice I'm not to sure about. But the actors have all been in the same movie, probaly why they used them, because they have worked with eachother in the paste. And krillins voice is actually made by a girl. Why they decided to kall Piccolo for 'Big Green, I do not know.

Because how a person looks determines their ability to act.

Well said NeptuneKai. And Hisham, take a look at this man:

Would you say he looks should not be Winnie the Pooh on account of how he looks?

Coolest Goku voice ever. Also; Chi-chi sounds sexy.
Adamant wrote:Also, for comparison's sake, the Swedish dub of the first clip: Not much better, but at least they say "Piccolo" instead of "Big Green".
I like Oolong's voice, actually. Interesting interpretation.

Kuririn's voice is done by a woman in Japanese too. And she's freakin' awesome.

...I can't believe these positive comments this Norwegian dub is getting...
I guess what someone said is so true:
You gotta know the language to determinate if it's good or bad acting.

I guess that's why we never hear anything bad about the Japanese versions! Or maybe it's just because they are perfect. :D

Well, I will say I feel a lot more confident in my acting when talking in Japanese as opposed to English. :D.

No I'm not saying that the way a persons looks determines how they act, as an Norwegian, I understand what they are saying, and it just dosnt work out as well as the japanese or the english dubb. The norwegian language dosnt work verry well with anime.
