To stray more on-topic, though...I guess I really don't find most of Muten-Roshi's antics more offensive than that casual joke about Jaco accidentally committing genocide against an entire planet. I suppose Kame-sennin's perverted actions are a little more "down to earth", so-to-speak, but genocide is also a bad thing that people shouldn't do.

It's not even just the fact that a lot of cases of sexual harassment aren't even acknowledged. There have been many cases where it's outright encouraged.

They’re not cancelling Dragon Ball Super, Cartoon Network and Warner Media just temporarily pulled it from their schedule to go through and edit the series before re-airing it

The anime still has Roshi eliminating a female fighter by threatening to sexually assault her, but I guess for what it’s worth, she tries to seduce him first. Still, she’s clearly pretty horrified by his threat.

I know you probably weren't talking to me, but just in case you were, I never said that I love capitalism like some libertarian cultist. I'm in favor of limited capitalism, combined with limited socialism. Progression taxation, robust social safety nets, etc. But people should be allowed to invest and make money on their own... just not to the point where 1 rich person hordes enough that other people starve.

Because the opposite that is being proposed, communism, is just as bad when taken to the extreme. If you want to talk about human suffering and death, look at what happened in Stalinist Russia or Maoist China. And of course some people will go and say 'no, no, no, that's not real communism', but that is what we got when they tried to create communist states. History shows that they just don't work, at least not at the current level of our maturity as a society. Maybe in a future where we have technology like Star Trek and don't have to worry about hunger, disease, or war, but that's way far off from now. Currently, the best model seems to be that employed by countries like Denmark, Norway, Finland, etc. Sure it's not perfect, but it's the best we can do right now, looking at all of the different models of government in the world and how well-off people are in them.

After the presentation of the complaint, the Directorate of Analysis, Investigation and Monitoring analyzed the episode and identified that the scene contains abuse and subjection by a male on an adolescent. Once the claim is settled, Both from Carton Network and from Warnermedia took measures, starting by withdrawing the anime completely from the air and stated that they will proceed to edit the entire series in order to return to the air as they had been doing.
