Japanese Burst Limit Logo?

Post by dragondyle » Thu Jun 05, 2008 3:25 pm

Why did Atari, or whoever is in charge of the logo for the American release, decide to keep the Japanese text on the logo for Burst Limit? Makes no sense to me why they would use the Japanese logo for a game now instead of in the past.

I like the fact that they are letting us see more of the Japanese influence in the Dragonball games, the show was created in Japan anyway. They probably started this due to the many fans (including me) that have requested that they start hinting towards more of Dragonball's Japanese connections (like how they include Japanese as a language choice and use a lot of Dragonball music from the series).

That's what I was thinking too. It's nice to see that they are doing that.

I'm very surprised they didn't do that. They could have easily taken advantage of that but, fortunatly, they didn't.

Or rather, Budukai 1.5 :P since this is an exact copy of Budokai1 with other graphics.

I personally think whoever the artist was in Japan could have designed a better logo. This might be off-opic, but the cover art, I am certain the Freeza and Cell have come directly of an old Mirai Trunks poster, and I'm sure I've seen that Goku from somewhere too.

This comes down to, it's not what you know it's who you know.
There are loads of bad artists that get the job because they know the boss or whatever, The fact is most of us could do a better job. But we don't have the connections.
