This is likely going to be impossible to find any real consensus on as this is a very peculiar case among all international Dragon Ball airings where there appears to be some sort of Mandela effect going on, especially with regards to the Fusion saga.
It's generally accepted that when the Fusion saga first aired on CNX they used the Funimation dub, and at some point later on switched to the Westwood dub. Sadly there doesn't seem to be any recordings of the Funimation Fusion saga in circulation, but many fans, myself included remember seeing it, at least partly, and there is a trailer online to confirm it aired. Some say it lasted 2 episodes, other say 5 episodes, then there's debate over whether it was 2 weeks or a month or two before the switch happened, and to a lesser degree some have claimed to have seen a Funimation dubbed episode in the morning with a Westwood dub repeat later that same day.
As for myself, my memory is hazy on the CNX airing, I was 11 at the time, but I do remember the scene where Gohan confronted Super Buu to say "fight you, no I want to kill you". This line stood out to me as the Westwood dub would often replace words like "kill". Of course I did later see the reruns, which used the Westwood dub and had Gohan say "fight you, no I want to destroy you" instead, and at the time I thought I was hearing things when he said "kill". Having later discovered US recordings and bought the home releases where the scene of Gohan saying he wanted to kill Buu and remembering the Faulconer score in this portion of the series I feel confident in saying that CNX did in fact air most, if not all of the Fusion saga, despite any claims to the contrary.
I have also heard some accounts of the Saiyaman saga airing with the Funimation dub, although I personally have no memory of this and only ever remember seeing the Westwood dub of those episodes during the original run.
Sadly the exact details may be lost to time as it will soon be 20 years since this all happened, but what does everyone else remember from this broadcast?

I watched CNX from day 1. They definitely aired the entire Fusion saga with Funimation's dub from start to finish at least twice.
Cartoon Network had aired up to the end of the Majin Buu/Fat Buu saga. I remember the episode of Buu's puppy being shot airing the last day before the summer holidays in 2002. This was the last episode to debut on Cartoon Network UK.
After that I remember there being a longer than usual wait for new episodes. Eventually promos for the new channel CNX and the Fusion saga began airing;

There were a bunch of others too; one with Piccolo reacting to the Super Ghost, one with Super Buu staring at the hour glass and screaming "no more waiting!", and one which showed various clips and Justin Cook's Buu saying "You said you'd tell me when I could start fighting".
I'm a huge Faulconer fan, so switching back to Funimation's dub after such a long time was really exciting for me. I remember really enjoying the new tracks, Super Buu's theme in particular.
CNX would air 5 new episodes a week, while also repeating the previous days episode before showing the new one. Once they reached the end of the Fusion saga they jumped back and aired it all again, still in Funimation's dub. They even started a 3rd run but switched to the Westwood dub at the episode were Gotenks defuses and then used that dub for all subsequent reruns. This would have been around late November/early December time, so it took at least a month for the dub to switch back to Ocean.
What's weird is that they would mostly use the Canadian opening/ending for the Funimation episodes, but would occasionally slip up and air Faulconer's opening/ending. And the Westwood episodes were more censored than the Funi ones, cutting the scenes of Buu jumping down the gunmans throat, Buu being shot, and Gotenks farting in the bathtub.
Not too long after the dub changed back we began getting promos for the Kid Buu saga. It's possible CNX got the whole Fusion and Kid Buu sagas from Ocean in one big batch. Halfway through the Kid Buu saga they started showing promos for GT, which aired the week after Z ended. I'm pretty sure CNX got halfway through GT before being rebranded as Toonami.
It's interesting to note that CNX was on Sky Channel 244, which was the entertainment section (the kids section started with Cartoon Network on channel 601). When CNX first changed to Toonami it remained on channel 244 for a few months before eventually moving to channel 621.
During this short period of Toonami being channel on 244, it was still CNX from 9pm, still airing the live action stuff. Once it moved to channel 621 they ditched the CNX brand completely.
As for the Saiyaman saga using Funimation's dub, I'm 99.9% sure that never happened. There was a weird situation were one of the Otherworld Tournament episodes had really poor video quality though, so perhaps people are remembering that? I remember the exact same thing happening to several Cartoon Network shows that day.
