The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Re: Official "Show off your Dragonball Crap" Thread
I was in the Jump Shop yesterday and decided to try the ichibankuji lottery for the first time. I really wanted the figure of Goku and Gohan from the first DBZ eyecatch, but I got the lowest prize instead - an A3 print. It's from one of the last pages in the manga with Goku and Bulma, so it looks really nice. But I don't think I'd buy another ticket to try again. I'll probably just check out a hobby shop for the figure next time.

An interviewer asks, "The soundtrack in Sonic 3 has become legendary. Is it true that you worked with Michael Jackson on it?" Takashi Iizuka kills all of our hopes and dreams by replying, "You know, those are just rumors, and SEGA does not want to say anything about them. So they will forever be just rumors..." WHY!?

So I am looking into getting all Z movies on DVD and was wondering which release is the better one: Singles or the movie packs that were digitally remastered?

Like most releases, it's a toss up.ZombieVito wrote: Fri Apr 09, 2021 3:42 am So I am looking into getting all Z movies on DVD and was wondering which release is the better one: Singles or the movie packs that were digitally remastered?
4:3
full screen (no cropping *whether intentional or not*)
Japanese title cards and credits
Collers Revenge does not have the weird audio glitch on the U.S score seen on future releases (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BeJKmRRMVqQ 1:06 *the video is flipped and sped up cause of youtube*)
16x9
Better compression that most of the singles
Includes the English dub with Japanese score

My collection. It's a mix of North American, Australian and UK release. That's because in The Netherlands we only got the big green dvd's and 8 single dvd's

wow, bernhard90, great collection!! Mine is a few pages back, I have added to mine, and will need to get updated pictures soon! Haven’t decided if I go for all the singles yet.
Re: Official "Show off your Dragonball Crap" Thread
This is all the physical crap I have, DBZ movies 1 and 3, a crappy poster and a sealed DBS Broly DVD.
Besides that, I also have the first three digital volumes of the japanese tankobons.

Yeah, I also don't know why is kid goku on a DBZ movie cover.

This thread takes me back, when I get the chance I'll set up my shelf to be more organized for a photo for this thread.
I don't have a fancy shelf though, it's just a cheap DVD shelf but I might put some of my old Dragon Ball books on it. (If they're not in a box)
The only things that won't be photographed are Legacy of Goku and DBZ TCG for the GBA, those game carts are too small.
I also have the Shenron DBZ plug and play TV game but it's in storage.

I wish there was some way I could get those Dutch single DVDs. They're the only DBZ home video release that has Saban's logo in the creditsbernhard90 wrote: Mon May 03, 2021 4:12 am My collection. These are some of the Madman DBGT singles I got in 2003-2004. It's weird how "Step into the Grand Tour" is now a semi rarity on home video

I'm not sure if the singles of Movies 10-12 were ever released in a box set in the USA. I'm glad I own this since it feels like the singles of the later movies went out of print very quickly in Australia and the USA

Me too, I'd also like to get my hands on the Dutch movie DVDs with the Big Green dubs for collector's sake.Kakacarrottop wrote: Tue Sep 21, 2021 4:01 amI wish there was some way I could get those Dutch single DVDs. I found them on Marktplaats recently, but sadly the seller wasn't doing international shipping.
Do you have any info about international non-English broadcasts about the Dragon Ball anime or manga translations/editions? Please message me. Researching for a future book with Dragon Ball scholar Derek Padula
