GT Season One Box (and Other Things) Confirmed

Gah, that'd be great, but it would screw over those who bought the original sets that wanted the 4:3. I would love to get it uncropped, yet i don't wanna waste so much money for it again.

I think that if they cared about screwing people over that they'd have finished the Ultimate Uncut Edition before moving onto the Widescreen sets.

Of course, now that I think about it, if they really don't care about screwing people over then they're not going to release a 4:3 DBZ for consistency's sake. Instead it's just kind of a "your problem, not mine" sort of thing from them.

Actually, I own the final single volume of FUNi's GT, and in the "textless songs" section, there are creditless versions of both GT opening animation 2 and ending 4. I would assume FUNi has creditless versions of endings 2 and 3 as well. We should be fine in that area.

Really? I thought the only textless song they had in GT was the first opening, seeing how that was the only one included on the first "Lost Episodes"-volumes. Also, I heard that the DragonBox only had creditless versions of opening and ending 1, so I just assumed that was all that was available.

No there aren't.
The only textless songs of GT are the first version of the opening and the first ending (Hitori Ja Nai).

Anyway, a textless version of both songs must exist or at least have existed since the italian opening uses some footage from them.

It's a DVD functionnality that allows you to chose between different video streams without changing the audio. In the case of the GT DVDs, you can chose between Japanese or English credits.

Shin-chan's been given the same treatment as DBZ in fact, it has three English Dubs just like it, and I'd rather have the first set of voices to be honest.

Although I like the Funimation dub for some points, Chuck Huber mainly, and Chris Sabat's characters on occasion.

God, could you imagine them doing every show like the 3rd Shin-chan dub? Everything would have been an "The Abridged Series".

My guess for the DBGT sets is that it's going to be 2 seasons. 32 episodes a piece and the second season having the TV-Special.
