Does Piccolo Daimao = Great Demon King Piccolo?

Does Piccolo Daimao = Great Demon King Piccolo?

I was looking at Daimao in Sparking Meteor and I thought "What does "Daimao" mean?" And so I learned a few words and I think I have something.

1 Dai = Great or Large

2 Ma = Demon, right?

3. O = King

Are those translations correct?

I thought Piccolo Daimao = Big Green. Damn our uk dubbed movies to hell!
