GT rehash more stuff than Super did in my opinion. One of the early episodes of GT try to recreate the classic DB episode of Oolong's village, and made it 10X worse.

GT rehashed way more than just the Oolong episode. That entire series was one big rehash save the final arc.

Even the well-regarded portions of DB often rehash other parts. I don't think that's the issue. The execution is bland so the rehashing stands out as a negative more than it would otherwise.

In the first arc, Ken have to defeat his 'only' brother that want to rule the world by strenght and violence.
After defeating him, another brother pop out of nowhere, that want to rule the world by strenght and violence.
Guess what happen the very next moment? Yeah, another brother pop out, rule the world, strenght&violence, bla bla bla.
For how much long you can do that?
Easy: the entire show. And guess how many moves Ken use? ONE. Atatatatata. Sometime is called Hokuto Fist, sometime Hokuto Move of the Killing Giraffe, but is always ATATATATATA.

Wanna talk of Saint Seiya?
Or myabe wanna talk of any robotic serie that's not Gundam?

Dragon Ball have to be Dragon Ball. If you do invent something too strange, it change into One Piece.

Well, well, well...

Look who was right once again. They repeated the Cell Saga all over again with the new movie and added another 2 color change transformation. I guess they plan to go trough all the crayons before ending the show. Golden Piccolo and Cell revived, wow, who would have guessed. I pointed out they are just repeating cell saga before this even aired and they literally did.


The whole point they made a sequel called Super is just to sell merchandise and make quick money from fans, no interest in making an actually sequel.

Super is a complete disappointment just like GT.
