Couple of random questions

Just some questions I have, because I missed the episodes where this stuff is answered. >_>

1) What happened to the Room of Spirit and Time after Gotenks fought Buu? I've heard the entrance was destroyed. Is this true?

2) What was the name of the race/planet from the Bardock special, where we first meet the team?

3) What happened to the Black Star Dragon Balls?

4) Is there any OFFICIAL word on how long in between Z and GT?

hey Mizugi, I'll see what I can do with my knowledge

1) Yes it is true - wether or not it is permanent is beyond me though.

2) the planet was called Kanassa I believe

3) They disappeared when Piccolo died on earths explosion caused by them in DBGT

4) Not that I'm aware of

According to the Daizenshuu and GT Perfect File, the timegap between Z and GT is 5 years, so that's what I'm going off of.

I always had a problem with the idea that only 5 years have passed. If that's true, then Pan is only 9 years old, but hell of a lot more mature looking than Gohan was at the same age. Hell, she looks older than Goku did at 12.

And besides that, why did Kuririns hair go from starting to gray, to an 80 year old in such a short period of time? Unless 18 is just slowly killing him over the years it makes no sense...

That's pretty much just fan opinion, going off their appearances. I don't think it's ever said in the series.

Fair enough, but I think ten years is the most likely. Bra and Pan are now teens, both of whom were young kids at the end of DBZ. And Uub seemed very mature. But that's just my thoughts and opinions.

10-15 makes the most sense. Maybe the GT files meant 12 but made an 00ber typo.

Pan could pass as 5 or 10 year later: she'd be 9 if 5 went by, land'd be 14 if ten years went by. She looks like she's in the 9-12 group, so maybe she's 14 (10 years later) and they drew her 2 years too young.

Bra makes no sense at all: She'd be 13 if 10 years went by, yet she looks older than Goten. That means she's dating at 8 if the GT files are right, but she's dating guys in their late teens.

Goten'd be 22 if 5 years went by, and 27 if 10 did, yet he looks like his 17 year-old self with a buzz cut?

Trunks also looks like his 17 year-old self, + 2-3 years.

Krillin looks twenty years older (?????), and Gohan seems to have reached the age where Saiyans magically stop aging.

Atleast Goten, Gohan, and Trunks made sense because of their Saiyan blood.

Hm.. Maybe this is just one of those things you simply shouldn't discuss. I'm still going by the Perfect File, but apparently I'm one of the only ones.

Pan was about 4 or 5 at the last "manga" tournament, right? She looks some where around 12-15 in GT, so I'm gonna have to say that there was close to a 10 year gap inbetween.

As for the Black Star DBs, they were destroyed with Piccolo when the Earth went boom for a second time.

I've quit accepting GT as the same universe as DB/Z (not that I ever did to begin with, but that was just prefrence then). Not only are the ages screwed up but powers are screwed up and character designs as well. And then there's the whole thing with Vegeta. So yeah, just like all the movies and the Garlic Jr. Saga GT isn't part of the original universe.

I've never really accepted it in manga continuity. I just groped it with already-screwed-up anime continuity.

It's more screwed up than the Anime though. Much more screwed up. Even the DB/Z Animes followed the Manga pretty closely. GT just went off and did it's own AU thing. GT is to DB what SD Gundam is to Gundam.

I pretty much ignore GT as an overfunded fanfiction wheras DB/Z aninmes are at least attempting to adapt it to television, GT just goes off on its own thing.

That's because there is no manga for GT to follow. ._. DB/Z followed the manga that Toriyama created, which GT is kind of lacking.
