This concert is love at first sight for me, it only not make me get hyped as makes me cry because I'm a huge Kikuchi fan, too addictive, I see recordings of the concert repeatedly
One thing that surprised me is that they'd arranged the unreleased Kikuchi tracks from Z Movies, but not the Unreleased OG DB tracks, OG DB was released CD Album soundtrack only, it's even pretty weird, gonna say.
For me it was so absurdly smart using "The Cooler Force Attacks" (M1206) and "Salza Reappears" (M1222) as the theme of Freza and Trunks fight, instead of Battle Point Unlimited :D
I simply wouldn't want to imagine my life without Dragon Ball, thank you Akira Toriyama (1955-2024), you are now immortal ~☆

Do you have any info about international non-English broadcasts about the Dragon Ball anime or manga translations/editions? Please message me. Researching for a future book with Dragon Ball scholar Derek Padula

Oh, wow. So it's not dead. I hope they try again to bring it to North America. I was really looking forward to going last year...

The UK performance has been cancelled for the infuriatingly vague reason of "unexpected scheduling issues".

I feel really insulted by how Overlook Events has handled this. It's less than three weeks away and I've now wasted money on transport.

The entire concert has been uploaded to YouTube in good quality by a member of the production team.

^ It is very nice to hear with this good quality!
Kikuchi's soundtrack needs a good reorchestration to not sound so flat and outdated, so it's nice that this concert provides us with that!

It's just a shame that they omitted the last third of the story, the one named Dragon Ball Super.
But perhaps this orchestra might not have been suited for it, and the length of the whole concert would have outlasted its welcome, I guess.

It wasn't omitted, the original concert always included DB and DBZ Songs/KIkuchi scores only, this is the "Dragon Ball Symphonic Adventure" concert from 2017, the concert that includes Super is the one from 2023 "Dragon Ball in CONCERT", which is basically a "updated version" of the same former concert but with DBS's opening songs and Sumitomo's tracks, and with a lot of tracks from Kikuchi removed (unfortunately, probabaly to make the concert shorter)

The real problem here is the tracks that were released in downgraded mono (just not a thing back then), because with any of it that was released in stereo, it's insanely high quality (even more so than many contemporary releases).
But the guys in charge of that department made it quite clear that they never cared about preserving the entire soundtrack, instead preoccupied with song collections and re-releasing compilations of those every decade or so.

Any chance you downloaded the video? Is not available anymore I contacted the owner via instagram and he said he doesn’t access to it anymore but I told him it’s private and he says he is not allowed to share and he doesn’t work anymore with the symphonic
