Maria Bonikou was the main Greek voice of Krillin in the original DB series. She did appear in some DBZ episodes as well. She was the wife of Manos Venieris who died 2 years ago. Her son, Spyros Venieris, was responsible for the translation of some DBZ episodes.

What do you mean? Manos Venieris and Maria Bonikou had one son and that's Spyros Venieris.

Are you confusing him with Spyros Bibilas who is mentioned in the article? Spyros Bibilas is another actor and president of the Union of Actors in Greece and they just quoted what he wrote on Facebook about the murder of Maria Bonikou.

WOW, Rip, news have been talking about the murder for a few days now, but never mentioned any of her work. I didnt know it was She that voiced all those anime/cartoons that were brought over here.

My friend told me about it, it sucks she was killed. They killed the voice of adult Gohan here.
