Anyone had a Dragonball-related dream?

Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

Pretty much constantly. My dreams are always A- completely random, B- completely random with namekseijin wandering around in various roles, or C- really intricate detailed stories involving namekseijin from cannon and fanchars I have/know, with some 20% of the time being cannon and the rest the fanchars.

The last one I had that would make the least bit of sense without too much explanation was basically a version of movie 6 that made sense and focused on the nameccians, particularly this one old guy who stood outside the sort of refugee camp that had been set up by those who hadn't been captured. Anybody tried to get in, he planned on beating the crap out of them. I was woken up before I got to see this though. Have been working into expanding into the outline for a fic with other ideas I came up with outside if dream.

Then there was the time I dreamed that the trailer for the DB movie had some out- it was eight minutes long, traditionally animated and in Japanese (the weird part being that it was only half the Japanese cast- some of them were the Ocean cast, but speaking perfect Japanese.) But I just kept looking around in it for Daimaou's makeup and they were still freaking hiding it and I was getting really annoyed. Everybody was fighting in a big melee against these deamons and getting the hell beaten out of them- then Gohan runs out, shouts basically "COME AND GET ME!" and starts wailing on the bad guys. Then Pic was wandering around looking for Son for some reason, blew Vegeta off when he tried to talk to him and walked around some more. I was also watching all of this on a big brown TV straight out of the early 80's.

Most of them I could try to explain, but if you don't know the guys involved it would really mean nothing.

I don't dream about Dragonball. I live it.

How convenient for this topic, I just had a DB-related dream not a few hours ago.

My family and I went to go pick my brother up from somewhere, but it was a trap and we were kidnapped. I tried to talk the kidnapper down and distract him, but he was onto me. But before he could do any unsavory deeds (he had a plan, but I never knew it), I remembered that I could henshin!!!

So I did, and I turned into this guy:

Then I powered up and did a Kamehameha. I think as I was flying off, I woke up with a grin on my face, and Pink Floyd's "Learning To Fly" (ironically?) playing through my speakers.

How's THAT for a story of peril and danger?

I know this is sort of off-topic, but I find it retarded how every time someone says they're anti-drug/alcohol people right away think it's some weird religious thing. Is it that hard to believe that someone doesn't enjoy screwing themselves up? Oh wait I forgot, it's the national pastime for this generation. [/rant]

Getting back on topic...I've had quite a few dreams, usually about a new series or something like that, but the one I remember most is that I dreamed I was playing a DB vs. Capcom game, it looked awesome...how I wish it were real.

No, he said he was anti-drug, like how Christian Scientists don't take drugs at all.

I take drugs to LIVE! Seriously, I need blood thinners.

I don't think he was referring to medical drugs. Sorry to hear that though. But if any of us are going to continue this discussion, this probably isn't the place for it, so there will be no more out of me on this matter.

All drugs are medical drugs, sorry about this huge derail, but we need drugs and it's a horrible dream to want them all gone. Maybe its all of the junkies who need to go. Though some outdated ones are used for pleasure and to feed an addiction, like Cocaine, but there's a rare demand for some of the dangerous stuff.

Anyway, Dreams, DREAMS!

I usually have dreams about the last thing I watched or something I did or saw during the past month.

I have a hard time remember dreams, some of them are either really insane and messed up, or they're fun and just plain awesome.

One time I dreamt I was in the Room of Spirit and Time (Hyperbolic time chamber?) and I just went in and out, so I didn't experience the inside, nor see it, plus it was in a playground for some reason. But I came out super strong, so I flew to the moon, picked up the empire state building, it was on the moon, and put it in a desert on Earth. And then New York city was built around the building. Hilarious dreams always leave an impression on me and I stay happy all day.
