I read "Cowa!" close to ten years ago. It still sits proudly on my shelf and I read it every now and then. It's a very nice story, short and sweet with great Toriyama humor! If you see it on the store shelf don't doubt on picking a copy up for yourself! I very highly recommend it!

Great news! So when can I expect to see this issue in bookstores? Also, how many chapters is Cowa?

Anyone else get the new Shonen Jump? I'm in England and I got it.

From what I've read, Cowa is damn funny and sweet.
I love the whole ½-Vampire ½-Were-Koala thing. Toriyama has a real thing for Koala's huh? Can't blame him.

Yeah, I got it too. I love José, he is so cute. Is the bit at the start when they are all running a reference to Dr Slump?
I finally bought a gamecube. To bad they don't make any games for it now.

Give the other series in Shounen Jump equal screen time on the cover. Not everyone wants to see the same face on a magazine cover month after month after month.
It's not really favoritism as much as it is them just putting out what is popular. When they had the whole Yu-Gi-Oh phase, it was really popular in America, with the card game and the 4kids dub. In recent years, they've had a lot of Naruto on the cover, because that is what was popular.

I bought the July issue a week or two ago, and I really enjoyed Cowa!. It's very funny and the artwork is simple without it being lazy. Also, they really did a lot of coloring, I see.

Most likely, should have had "KIIIIIIIN~" there right?

It's just one volume, with 14 chapters.

That's what I thought.

Got my copy of Cowa! in the mail today. Going to sit down and read it later tonight, but I was surprised by the color pages in a smaller format release. Could this be indicative of what we can expect in the upcoming Dragonball box sets?

Sweet, I can't wait to hear what you have to say about it. :)

On the note of the upcoming Dragonball sets, here is all we know about the hardcover volumes.
