I really think it will come back this fall.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
If the anime ever comes back, I wonder what will be called, probably Super 2 or Part II... way better than "Ultra" that would be silly lol

I wouldn't put it past Toriyama to name it "Drago Ball Super Super"

I think we will see the Moro arc be adapted into the anime soon. The Moro anime adaption will probably go on for a year given how long it is.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I'm happy we're getting a sequel to DBS:SH but I am still expecting the anime to come back soon with the Moro arc. I'm sure they can work on both.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I don't think so. Again, Toei is playing smart there, they don't want to move staff for a weekly series with questionable animation when they have people to work in a long project that would be much better quality-wise.PrinceVegetto wrote: Tue Jun 21, 2022 8:58 pm I'm happy we're getting a sequel to DBS:SH but I am still expecting the anime to come back soon with the Moro arc. My only doubt if that future movie will go past EoZ, but I can imagine they doing something ludicrous like a menace 1 month before the tournament lol
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
We don't know if it's only another movie.

Yeah Moro and Granolah are definitely being adapted at some point. When is another story, as it will all depend on if Fuji TV have any new series lined up for October, if they don't Super will probably return and take Dragon Quest Dai or Digimon's timeslot. The anime will return eventually though, as there's money to be made on Moro and Granolah in the video games and merchandise.PrinceVegetto wrote: Tue Jun 21, 2022 8:58 pm I'm happy we're getting a sequel to DBS:SH but I am still expecting the anime to come back soon with the Moro arc. In one of those manga talk shows they said that more than just the Super Hero movie was going to come this year.
I fully expect an announcement of a new weekly anime. I would bet for an October release. And it will probably cover Moro + Granolah, as it seems like Toriyama is only willing to write the story forward in movie formats, and by helping out with the manga.

As for the next Dragon Ball film - what if they retell the End of Z and have a movie about Goku & Uub's teacher-student relationship
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
That is something which I would love to see, but if it happens it will probably be in two movies.Bardock God of Time wrote: Thu Jun 23, 2022 2:02 pmI can't wait for the anime to return, once it returns we'll get tons of Video Game contentemperior wrote: Thu Jun 23, 2022 2:54 am In one of those manga talk shows they said that more than just the Super Hero movie was going to come this year.

The next movie will probably be a higher stakes one, possibly involving Broly, Freeza, and even Jiren, and focusing on Goku and Vegeta progressing,
Then I don’t see why we couldn’t get a Uub movie focused on Goku training him. With lower stakes than even Super Hero. I imagine something a la 21st Budokai Tenkaichi in tone - so either Goku traning Uub up for a new no-stakes universal tournament (more like U6 one) to teach Uub some lesson, but with the focus of the movie being on his training.

If they bring back the anime, they can do a recap of Broly during the first episode and start off with chapter 1 of the Moro saga. With Superhero, they can do the same depending where it fits in the timeline.

Would be kinda weird to do recap of Super Hero after getting 2 new arcs animated already. Super started with two recaps in a row and then jumped into the new stuff.Hellspawn28 wrote: Fri Jun 24, 2022 3:02 pm If they bring back the anime, they can do a recap of Broly during the first episode and start off with chapter 1 of the Moro saga. Since the timeline this time is Broly -> Moro -> Granolah -> Super Hero, we can't just have two recap arcs to get them out of the way anymore.

I wouldn't mind a fleshed out Broly arc.Xeogran wrote: Mon Jun 27, 2022 6:50 amWould be kinda weird to do recap of Super Hero after getting 2 new arcs animated already.
