Well, I make some amvs every now and then, and I'm coming back to it after a few year abscense...but I just finished my latest video in a new program. I used Vegas on this after using Movie Maker forever. Let me know what you guys think.

I'll probably get ripped because I used "Remastered" footage, but oh wells. I'm one of the few that was willing to take the widescreen issue and counter-balanced it with consistent, uncut video. Not to mention I get my Japanese fix, however chopped it may be.

I really, really enjoyed it. Seriously that falls in my "Top 10" AMVS.
Great job, I hope to see more of your work!

I've been likewise considering producing an AMV with mine as well, and I agree. Widescreen may still bother some viewers, but so long as you're careful about that and the other things, you can still end up with a very classy final product with them. If I get enough free time this summer, I'll probably make one. Perhaps I'll use one of the two remastered movies coming out later this month instead. That'd be a little easier and probably quicker, too.
Anyway, very nice video.

Yeah, if I would have known what I knew now when I finished that video, the quality would have been off the wall. Widescreen AMVs looks really good in my opinion.
Thanks for the comments Neptune & Kaboom.

Very nice AMV, some of the best timing between audio and video I've ever seen. Personally I didn't mind the widescreen since you were consistent with it. Great job!

Brilliant, I even tried the video while playing Apocalyptica's version of Nothing Else Matters too, except it's shorter.
