So what was it, 2016/2017 when the Dragon Ball room was announced? I have yet to gain a full understanding of this department, because it seems to me like they have done absolutely nothing to expand the franchise in any impactful way until the year of 2022 when Dragon Ball made a smash hit appearance in Fortnite. Wasn't the whole point of the Dragon Ball room to expand the brand in any kind of way, or was it just to streamline the communication between the departments? I mean seriously it is unknown to me this department even does. It took them years to put out Super Hero. Don't get me wrong it's a solid Dragon Ball story but that's beside the point. Shouldn't we be getting more movies, tv shows, manga, merchandise, video games etc.....
And I don't want to hear about how they are happy where Dragon Ball is at money wise, because the point of any business plan is continued growth, that is basic business 101. Growth, and there is no way that they don't understand that.
Has the Dragon Ball room been cooking up the most epic plans for 5 years? I seriously doubt that.
I'm not positing this just because I'm upset that there isn't more content, but I am genuinely surprised that the output has not increased since the creation of this department. I am sure someone out there has some wonderful insight into this topic.
The Dragon Ball Room has not delivered OR, I don't have a full understanding of it.

There's been a pandemic going on. Plans change.

They probably have barely anyone working on it compared to other pieces of the industryMajin Man 101 wrote: Fri Sep 02, 2022 7:36 am So what was it, 2016/2017 when the Dragon Ball room was announced? If you think Dragon Ball Room was created in order to have new projects and whatnot, then you have full understanding of what it is, as that is precisely what they said in that interview and in its announcement.
But that's nothing to do with the amount of stuff that is released. Dragon Ball Room is to gather together to discuss, plan, develop and release (though the former two don't seem to be happening...), not to hire more people to get things done more quickly and more often or to "increase output", as you said. They will work with what they have, with the ones available at that time.
What I do question is their purpose related to the stories, they haven't been delivering on that department (for the series specifically) for some reason...
