If the anime was to debut in April 2023, I'd imagine an announcement well before Jump Festa this year. But honestly, if the anime is coming back next year, I'd rather it be later than sooner.

I think the decision for the DBS manga to take a break in September was so that Toei could announce in September that the anime is coming back next year and not overshadow the release of the next chapter and the beginning of the new arc for the manga. Then they could use Jump Festa to provide a PV for the DBS 2.0.

- Toyotaro said in the future the new manga forms will appear in the games. Just like any other manga franchise, that doesn't happen until it gets animated. Same reason why he didn't have nothing of the Moro arc outside of the manga.

Could you link the interview where he said this? That’s actually solid proof of the manga getting adapted into the anime.

Not too surprising considering how much he seemed to enjoy working on the last two movies. I do wonder how that will factor in considering a third season of One-Punch Man (from a third production team!) is happening but Kubota still drew the key visual for it.

A Jako OVA might be a little too late but who the heck knows? Maybe the secondary project is an extended edition of Broli?

A Jaco TV special makes sense if the anime is going to adapt the Galactic Patrol Prisoner arc. I love the Jaco manga and I’ve wanted an adaptation ever since I first read it back in 2014.

I'd love a continuation of Super and a Dragon Ball remake. The latter is extremely unlikely to happen yet though.
