Frieza's most fitting end...

Post by Geraldo » Fri Oct 28, 2022 4:06 am

So excluding Babidi and his minions, Monaka, and the aliens we have gotten in the filler episodes of Dragon Ball Super, all the extraterrestrials in the Dragon Ball franchise had a connection to Frieza.

But what if his fate was sealed in the most anticlimactic way? We can have a great final showdown with him, going from planet to planet, teleporting alongside and after Goku and Vegeta. They reach Planet Beehay, where Goku is struck down by Frieza, causing damage to his chest but somehow missing his heart, Vegeta is on his knees, trying to catch his breath and stand up as the worn out Frieza approach him, Frieza spits out blood and caughs, he mentions that he never thought that the child he "fostered" would become this insanely powerful, not that it now matters. Vegeta rises with a broken rib and calls Frieza "a loser who didn't knew when to quit". Frieza is angered but his power level is absurdly low due to his long rumble match with the two Saiyans.

Frieza openly addresses this, stating with a bitter smile that in their current condition, even a Saibaman will be more than enough to kill them all. An earthquake errupts, causing Vegeta and Frieza to fall over. Vegeta climbs right up and drag his feet towards Frieza, he says that he has no ability to use his own energy, so this will end in a melee fight. Frieza pushes his lifeforce to the limit and pulls a small finger ki ball he opts to send at Vegeta. Frieza stands up and right before he can shoot his ki blast at him, the ground beneath him explodes with a Mouma worm eating him up and diving right back to the ground.

Vegeta is shocked and throws up because of his fear of worms. Gohan and Piccolo assisted by Pybara arrive at the battlefield but find out they have just missed the big moment of Frieza's demise. The tyrant was eaten up and stopped by a mere random animal. Not even a cocky monster can evade the simplicity of death once he's on his last strings of power. Goku is given a senzu bean right before he passes away and so is Vegeta who knows that this was the last of Frieza.

Frieza had so many deaths now, that you just know there can never be any certainty on him being dead forever. They would have King Enma say that he isn't in hell this time, but he's too popular of a character to ever be done for good. And now there are Super Dragon Balls that can be used to bring him back even from literal non-existence.

In my opinion, after having been eaten alive by a random animal, a psychopath like Frieza would be psychologically broken and at a despair that whomever gets to deal with his soul (Dragon Ball Super made it that King Enma is only dealing with the souls of those who died on Earth), will be able to cleanse him.

I think Freeza's most fitting end would be fatherhood.

If Freeza died any where else but on Earth, Enma would not be involved at all.

I kind of favor the idea that Freeza not be a big bad any more. Just let him go about doing what he does as emporer of the galaxy. He already came back for revenge and failed. Tried it a second time and got rocked by Broly. I don't follow Super Manga and anything going on there, but I don't think there should be any more interactions of the same type with them any more with the murderous intent. There can be many ways to keep including Freeza in stories that aren't him trying to best Goku and kill him. Let the revelation of "I might need to keep this monkey around to discover the further depths of my power" sort of thing. I think I kind of prefer that sort of dynamic. Freeza's never friendly with them and openly despices and curses them, and when he does get sufficiently more powerful, his goal is to hu,iliate and subjugate.

Pretty much. It would give him a lot to work with and would make this character more interesting, to see how the dynamics and stuff play out. It will be a colossal waste if he dies yet again (or even if he doesn't die) and we didn't get to see Kuriza coming out from all of this.
