So out of character, Future Trunks never cared about "Saiyan blood/pride" stuff

Ooh, Towa reference
And holy Code Lyoko is Trunks' forehead big in the first panel on the last page
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I had no idea this was still ongoing.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
It really feels like this first chapter should've been the second chapter. The actual first chapter should've delved more into how things had been going on in Future Trunks' world and and what all he, Bulma, and 16 had been up to over the years. What we got here is basically just a flashback to the earlier chapters of the tournament, just from Trunks' perspective. While these are not necessarily terrible specials(like the Bojack origin or Future Gohan fighting Babidi), they also don't really show or tell us much that is new or interesting.
Filler is fine though, I guess.

15 years since DBM started, and it's still not finished. It should have ended over a decade ago (like 2012 at least).

Agreed, the specials dragged everything out way too long as well as doing that abysmal tournament interruption with Babidi doing his shenanigans. With Super being out, it also feels really outdated now.Hellspawn28 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 7:59 pm 15 years since DBM started, and it's still not finished. Love that #17 & #18 panel. #17 in particular looks very scary.

I was 17 in HS when it first came out. I'm 31 and I still look back on DBM as a product of a bygone era. DBM came out when the series ended over a decade ago with no new material (The 2008 special wasn't out yet). DBE wasn't out yet, Kai didn't exist yet, and the only things that fans had to keep them invest was video games and merchadise when DBM was fist released. In 2008, the idea of a new Dragon Ball animated series with new transformations, old villains returning, etc was only in the relams of fan fiction. 15 years later, stuff from DBAF has pretty much become a reality.Bardock God of Time wrote: ↑Mon Jan 16, 2023 10:29 am I was in elementary school when this came out, now I got an associate's degree lol
Once DBM ends, I will consider it the end of a era. I don't know many DB fan fictions that are still on going from the era before we had anything new.
I always felt like DBM should have released things monthly instead a page once every couple of days. It would have improved the pacing and the story would have been over by now.Almighty Majin wrote: ↑Mon Jan 16, 2023 1:04 amAgreed, the specials dragged everything out way too long as well as doing that abysmal tournament interruption with Babidi doing his shenanigans. DBM should have had 4 artist with Salagir telling them parts of the stroy so there would be less stops.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
His AF was published in 2011. DBM barely came out before we had a resurgence of new DB media. The first page of DBM was posted in May 2008 and Dragon Ball: Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!! was released in September 21, 2008. DBE won't be released until another year, and we had another 5 years before we had Battle of Gods. When DBM was first published, the anime has been over since 1997 and GT was the last DB related contented that we had from Toei until 2008.Bardock God of Time wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2023 1:59 pm Does Young Jijii's Dragon Ball AF count?
