This is something that I've been thinking for a while so I decided to make a thread about it. To here your opinion on this. A lot of the Toei home releases have been green tinted? Why, before jumping to conclusions I will give two (potential) explanations.
- The first explanation is that there export settings are wrong. Colors will be more shifted to the greens. We can put here releases like: Kai TFC, DBS Broly and DBS Heroes.
- The second explanation is that, they put the tint deliberately as a color grade. Releases like: the recent movies and TV special remaster. Tints on these varies (some are green others are yellowish and some don't have a tint)
I think the truth is somewhere in the middle especially with Kai TFC, simply do not understand why Toei keeps making these mistakes.

It's creative intent.

I don't think it's something creative because BoG, RoF and Super didn't have that green tint.

I could be geekin but I could've sworn BoG has green tint issues as well. Or at least a trailer did. Can't rememberM16U3L2015 wrote: Wed Dec 21, 2022 5:16 pmI don't think it's something creative because BoG, RoF and Super didn't have that green tint.
