What exactly is the "re-edition" of Dragon Ball on Manga+ and the Shonen Jump App?

I was browsing manga+ while waiting for the new chapter of Chainsaw Man to drop, and I noticed that Dragon Ball was being added to the app under a "re-edition." There's supposedly one for Naruto as well among others? What exactly is this? Is it a new translation to finally update the old 90's one? Are we finally getting a fully faithful release of the original, uncensored art and all? (I doubt that as it is Viz after all, they seem afraid to fully make that jump.)
So for those of you more familiar with the manga side of things what exactly is this?

Re-edition, from my understanding, is just a weekly re-release of chapters from an already existing manga. Or in other words like a re-run on TV. For Manga Plus at least it seems to just be the Viz translations, meaning that outdated translations and terms would still be used. So, for example, Dragon Ball would release an old chapter each week using the old Viz translations alongside all the issue it has. Typically I see it as something that is more for those who are already familiar or nostalgic with the manga or anime and would see it as an impulse read, than for newcomers necessarily. Though if one were to catch it from the beginning, they can certainly treat it as such.

Not sure if it is something related to DB all too much, more so just Shonen Jump or manga in general. But hope this helps.

Yeah this helps a lot. The app didn't really make it clear. Oh well, maybe we'll get a faithful localization someday.
