Like I said "next dimension" isn't that bad and it was still clear Goku and everyone else who "went to the next dimension" was killed. Otherworld just would have been a way better workaround.

Canonically, Goku and Raditz did die in the Ocean Dub, XD

Canonically Goku, Raditz, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, Piccolo,Kami, Nappa, Cui, Dodoria, Zarbon, Random Frieza minion#43, and Guldo all died in the Ocean dub it was just the next dimension phrasing was used.

Reecome also died too (As far as I can remember)

Although, I was referring to when they referred to it as death (In the very first episodes of the Ocean Dub)

Unless I'm misrembering (quite possible) Recoome got his ass kicked by Goku at the end point of season 2 but Vegeta didn't vaporize him until after the point Funimation Studios took over.

Just checked on the Wikia, he was knocked down by the end of Season 2.

Which made those filler scenes of seeing his lifeless carcass around odd. Seriously, was anyone else wondering with that too?
