Great episode, short commentary. As it was mentioned that Bulma was finally able to become a character this season, I wholeheartedly agree. Megami finally got to act, and her role in History of Trunks abridged is my favorite, can't wait till we get to it.

Had no idea there were episode trailers Kaiser was perfect as Trunks, especially compared to Kai Trunks, where Eric Vale had that Kyle Reese like rasp, that was terrible

Hell, I'd settle for a roundtable retrospective between Lani, Kaiser, Taka, & Masako talking about the episodes, movies, & specials in great detail. I'd watch the fuck out of that.

Another hilarious commentary. One thing though, Lani says changing how Goku learned IT was unnecessary, I just figured they changed it because there is literally no reason to not teach every fighter you protect the world with how to teleport, unless there's a reason you can't teach them, like not having the right sentient food source.

Honestly, 32-34 was just a great stretch of episodes. I remember back in 2012 when they came out originally, it was just a solid trilogy to start Season 3 off with (didn't quite care for 31 personally, as it was based on boring & stupid filler & I didn't find the story that funny, way too sitcommy for me, tbh). Looking back on it, I still think that. Just really tight writing, acting, & editing. Even the dark joke with Yamcha committing neckrope, I liked, as it's shock humor that actually caught me off-guard. It's really cool to be revisiting these episodes over 10 years later with these commentary tracks. I was 16 when 32-34 came out. Now I'm 26. I'M OLD!
But, yeah. Season 3 was definitely a turning point for them. It's why it was such a shame that they didn't do Buu. I wanted to see what they could've done with it & the last 5 movies. I still think they could return to it at some point in the future, but that's up to them & I understand why they wouldn't.

For myself, while yes I would like them to return to Dragonball in some form: (Hell, Buu Saga in X Minutes. why not?) but these trilogy of episodes remind me of how talented they were, and makes me wonder how things would have gone if the blight didn't rock the world. I totally forgot all about Dieseldust until they brought it up. And I really liked what they did with Unabridged. There were plans, with their writing and sensibilities. Shame how things turned out.

He really brings a different side in his commentaries. Loved the Bojack rant. That's another commentary I want all three of them on. Just talk about the movie, and talk about how they just couldn't abridge it.

At this point, there's always one really REALLY good joke in each episode. Comedy being subjective, but if you are about DBZA, even if all the other jokes fall flat, there is that primo joke that will carry you through to the end. And I believe that joke is Goku telling Chi Chi they been lying for the last 3 years...in the dumbest way possible. That is the best joke of this episode.
