This is bloody excellent! Obviously there's some liberties taken as the author admits (like Popo knowing about the Supreme Kais) and it feels a bit contrived that the other Earthlings wouldn't take the risk but it doesn't matter that much. Seeing Gohan and Piccolo go on a proper adventure together is great. I like the weird esoteric references to Norse mythology, quantum physics, wildlife photography, all the sorts of things you'd probably never see in the original manga.

I like how the villains' look have a perfect mix of threatening and goofy. Some villains in One Piece are like that.

Some twist at the end, these warriors were waiting for Gohan all this time? Time Paradox? Did they meet Grandpa Gohan a long time ago and believe Son Gohan is a reincarnation? Guess we'll find out next chapter.

Wow, I really like the story and the concept is very original. Can't wait to see how the story goes!

I read it in one go. Granted that's not much, but I really do like it. My main gripe are the adult warriors pussing out like wow. How heroic of them. I guess the author just wants a piccolo/gohan centric story and couldn't think of a good way to keep Yamcha, Tien, and Krillin out of it. But they do come off like cowards. I hope that if this manga continues, maybe they change their minds and rush into the portal after their friends.
