Who wants Dragonball Z: Budokai 3 Greatest Hits?

With Burst Limit coming and my (hopefully) getting the Metal Gear Solid 4 Playstation 3 bundle on the 12th, I really don't need Budokai 3. I haven't played it in 2 years and it just sits on my table collecting dust. Therefore, I'm giving it away. For free.

The only thing I'll need is an address. I'll even pay for the shipping, up to $10. If it costs more than that, you will need to send me something to send it to you in.

The way this will work is that I'll ship it after June 15th. If more than one person wants it, I will need help from the forum on choosing who gets it.

You know what, as an added bonus, cause I'm hoping to get a PS3 with BC, I will also through in my PS2 memory card with the save file on it. The card also has Budokai Tenkaichi 1 & 2, Sagas, and I believe Budokai 2 as well. All games have everything unlocked and maybe some things that you shouldn't be able to unlock due to my Gameshark.

The Budokai 3 has Freeza and Coola with all abilities and the spaceship attached. (I had Vegeta with all attacks and the Majin Seal item as well but saved one day after changing it and the Gameshark codes only work for the normal version with these setting tranfering over when the GH version reads the normal version's save). All of the characters have max stats.

If you have any question you can ask in this thread, and I'll try to nswer them.

One thing I just remembered: Although it is the Greatest Hits version and has the case cover with Vegeta and Goku, there is no instruction booklet. I got the game from EB. It wasn't a big thing for me cause I already played through the standard version.

Wow. This is the Budokai 3 with the Japanese selected audio right? I really want that game. Budokai 3 was by far my favorite Dragonball game but I never got to enjoy it with it's original Japanese voice actors.

If whoever you give the game to doesn't need the memory card, I'll ask for the card. I've reached my absolute limit on the two cards I have (a grand total of 40 KB free between the two cards, and I had to do some serious maintenance to make the most out of the space), and I don't have the money to spare for another card. I can't make any new saves on the cards I have.

Vegetto and Drabaz have already asked, and I'm sure more will ask after me, but I would like to put my name in the group of people who want it if this is indeed the version with the Japanese voice option. I never played any of the Budokai games, and I've wanted to pick up this one for a while due to it having the Japanese voices in it.

I don't NEED it though, especially since I might (still not sure, I was planning on it but $60 might be too much for me right now, but I want it pretty bad) pick up Burst Limit (although it looks like B3 is has comparatively quite a bit more content than BL), and like you I am getting MGS4 so I'll have plenty of games to play. *EDIT* I didn't end up getting Burst Limit because I just can't really afford it right now, so I want this game even more

I can't help but think that there are probably other people who need / want it or deserve it more than I do though, and it might be more appropriate to give it to someone more active or notable in these forums than myself, I guess we'll just have to give everyone a chance to see this thread and see who else wants it and what their circumstances are.

As far as shipping goes, I'm in Michigan which is 2 states away from you, but not as close as Drabaz who is in a bordering state so shipping to him will probably be cheaper.

Why are you doing this though? Do you just figure that since you're not doing anything with it you wanted to give another DB fan a chance to enjoy it? This whole thing is extremely generous.

For the people that just want the memory card: I'm trying to not have to ship to two different places and have the extra shipping fee. Also, the only way that I would through in the Memeory card would be if I can get my hands on a PS3 with backwards compatable functions so that I can save all of my games on it. If I can't get one, or get on where I can't play me games on it, I won't be able to include the memory in the package. I totally wish Sony would bring back the fully backward compatable systems. I'd so play $600.

The games just sitting on my table doing nothing. I could take it to EB/GS and get two or three dollars for it. Or do E-bay and get a few dollars. But I'd rather give something back to the Daizex community.

And remeber guys, I need suggestions on how to decide who to give the game to.

Well, I could use the actual game too (I only have the regular version). If there's anyone here that needs it more than me though, that's OK.

So, I got my PS3 today. and it's really really awesome. I bought the adaptor to transfer all my files over from the memory card.

Unfortunately, the one disc that I really really want to work in it doesn't and I doubt it ever will. So I won't be able to include the memory card. But when I get back to work on Monday I'll tally up the people who want the game and with the help of the forum (I hope), I'll device up a way to see who gets the game.

So far people who have posted or contacted me with a expressed desire for the game are Drabaz, Leotaku, Kak, and VegettoEX. For some reason I'm thinking that I missed someone.

I was thinking about this recently. People always talk about how good the Budokai series is, but I've never had a chance to play any Budokai games. I was thinking about picking up Budokai 3, but decided against it, despite how cheap I could get it. But as long as it's free, I'll take it!

Oh, and congrats on the PS3, since you seem to like it so much

(which version did you get?).

), if you still want to do it that way maybe you could ask on IRC or maybe even the General Discussion subforum (might be against the rules though, I'm not sure). Hope I'm not being annoying by "bumping" the thread, I just got done watching some B3 videos on YouTube and it looks like so much fun and extremely similar (even many of the animations look exactly the same) to Burst Limit which I got to play at my cousins house a couple weeks ago, and it really re-sparked my craving for B3.

I bought a copy of the Greatest Hits version only six months or so ago, after owning Budokai 3 since it was first released.

I have a spare copy of Budokai 3, but I think I gave it to my sister.

I would LOVE to have it! I bought the Special Edition Budokai 3 game when it first came out.... but it's been damaged... and I let a friend borrow it... and he traded it in to GameStop!!!!
