Why One Piece gets to use blood in its anime and Dragon Ball cant anymore

I think it may be because Dragon Ball Super is still a major draw for kids and One Piece simply has simply proven fans wont watch a censored version and thus it may not be a priority to aim it at kids anyway. That and Toei and the anime industry in general giving up on kid friendly anime outside of Asia.

They probably just think that it's the wiser option. One Piece is a mostlly for a limited audience in comparison to Dragon Ball, which tends to air in more markets.

Not outside of Japan. That's the thing, like Julie and I said Toei has just given up on Marketing One Piece towards kids outside of Japan.

Dragon Ball has a wider audience internationally, so it's just easier to not out a ton of blood and gore in these films and TV series.
